Nicole Scherzinger - Right There
Artist: Nicole Scherzinger
Featuring: 50 Cent
Producer: Jim Jonsin
Album: Killer Love
Label: A&M/Interscope/UMG
Nicole Scherzinger, world renowned eye candy and former leader of the Pussycat Dolls, has been largely absent from our pages for almost two years now (incredible but true), but today the news broke that she’s working on putting together the US version of her solo album Killer Love, previously released in the UK. And who better to make a potential club-banger (or as he says on the track “another #1”) with than 50 Cent? While there’s nothing ground-breaking about new single Right There, it’s one of those songs that you could definitely get down to, after more than a couple drinks at the club, with a shorty that had a little more to drink than you did. Over a rock infused beat by hitmaker Jim Jonsin, Scherzinger talks about liking it dirty and wanting her lover to put his (or her) hands on her body. Works for me. Nicole and Fiddy shot the video for the track in L.A. last week, so it’s safe to say that we can expect visuals real soon, followed by a reworked version of Killer Love later this year.

Nicole looks amazing.
Jim Jonsin, is great. As for Nicole's singing well her singing is good. And 50.....well 50 is just ok. but his verse though short is a nice touch to the song. Not sure exaclty how this will do in the clubs but it should have some moderate success. Not gonna be a #1 hit or anything though. |

not as bad as i thought. 50 is alright on this despite his recent woes in the rapping area. nicole has never been anything special to me though

Not as good as I thought it would be. I love Jim Jonsin's production. Not a fan of this Rihanna-ish vocal quality Nicole is using here. 50 is ok here, nothing great. I've heard better from Nicole.

She needs to lose the accent, production is solid and 50 couldn't hurt this track much...

This song did not need 50 cent. Kim is a bomshell all on her own. Jim Jonsin should be named Mr. Mainstream his joints all sound like chart worthy productions.

The song is a banger I like the way the song was put together with the lyrics and the effect on the voice. She should have left 5o cent off the song, he took the song down in my opinion. Big names dont mean the song will be a smash but good job anyway.

the only thing working for this song is jim jonsin on the production side of the things , but nicole doing this rihanna accent thingy not cuttin it sorry , and 50 is just on it to stay revelant not really much else can't see this as a club hit nor really the right hit at all

I really liked 'Poison' and 'Don't Hold Your Breath', but I'm not feeling this one here... Fact: If you're an r'n'b/pop singer and have a 50 Cent feature on your album, that's a no-brainer for single selection.

50 seems to do surprisingly well on guest verses over pop/club production lately. The same is true here. Nicole was aight, but I wish she conveyed a stronger tone during the chorus. I think that would really send the song over the top.

50 is always good, but Nicole isn't really doing it for me. Good beat though!

It’s not original enough to stand out, but worth another listen.
