This couldn't crack the regular album version of "Pink Friday"? Why not?
Super catchy sample, radio-ready production from Rotem (whats new?), and Minaj doing what she does best on the mic. I know she is a rapper at heart, but Minaj is really committed to this pop angle and all the better for the longterm prospects of her career.

I like that it's a girl's song, referencing shows with mostly female audiences and fashion labels that mostly girls would know. The line about Donatella making "mozzarella" was pretty sweet.
But I don't think the hook works here; it doesn't really make it special or cohesive. I usually like her funny style of speaking on her tracks, but it's annoying and feels forced here. A lot of her metaphors and similes and stuff fall flat. She's rapped about liking girls before and it was fun. Here I'm disappointed. I like her. This just kinda sucks. :/ |

Ok, let me start off by saying I'm a HUGE fan of Nicki Minaj. And "Romans Revenge" was horrible, (my opinion). But I am really liking this record from her. The chorus is very catchy and a nic listen. Also, Nicki's verses in this is her doing what she does best. Rap. The production from Johnathan "JR" Rotem is really great. This is a overal great song. I feel like this will be on the top charts. A def BANGER for me. I can't wait to see more on Pink Friday.

I give this 5 stars not because its a classic but because this will take the radio and turn it upside down. It will be in heavy rotation (at least thats what I think). The JR production and sample is on point and Nicki is on fire.

Man, it just seems like it's love or hate with Nicki, and I alternate between the two. As much as I thought she killed Monster, that's how aggravating this is. Next.

The hook/beat is sick... too bad it's got Nicki Minaj rapping over it... This reminds me of the beat on The Ready Set drop and could probably get a huge boost by having The Ready Set on top of this beat rather than NM. 2 1/2 stars for the beat, - 1/2 a star for having to listen to Minaj...
