I recently took a trip back to Philly and took a break from down South radio for some East Coast Hip-Hop. However, all that seemed to blast from the speakers was Nicki Minaj’s newest release Did It on Em. Off her Pink Friday album, Nicki keeps the hits coming with her fourth single, supported by the superstar producer Bangladesh. Bangladesh’s production, as always, (A Milli, 6’7, Diva, etc), is either very catchy or very annoying. Personally, after my time in Philly, I think he’s a producer whose beats grow on you after repeated listens. Unlike her first three singles, Nicki actually raps and spits some pretty dope lines on the cut. Then again, she also spits some cringe worth lines that would make you think Birdman is ghost writing for her. Regardless, I don’t see how that guy yelling in the background helps matters. Per usual when it comes to Minaj’s music I expect Did It on ‘Em to generate a lot of debate in the comments; so do you like rapping or singing Nicki better?

If I were her, I'd release "Fly" and "Save Me"; the production there is quality. |

Personally, I like this song, but I agree it should not have been the next single. "Blazin", "Fly", and "Moment 4 Life" were all not only better for radio, but better songs in general. But like I said, I don't think this song is terrible and I listen to it some becuase the bass sounds good in my car and I do enjoy some of the blunt lines she drops. "If I had a d**k, I would pull it out a p**s on 'em" makes me laugh every time.

This track is such garbage. I give most tracks a chance, but I just really don't like Nicki Minaj. The mainstream rap community just doesn't represent the type of quality that is displayed by the majority of the artists that premiere on the booth every week. Que Lastima.

I'm with @Jor-El, this is one of the album's best. It may not have lyrical depth to it, but Bangledesh supplies a crazy, catchy beat. This is the Nicki I love, this track is hard.

Dude in the background sounded like Diddy drunk off Ciroc. Not my choice for a single but the song is nice. I am beginning to wonder if Nicki maxed her lyrical capabilities on Monster. The lyrics on this was very basic.
