New Breed - Mind Blown

In August of ‘08, the Booth featured twin brothers Marvelous and Cez of New Breed‘s debut buzz single, One Night. Though reviews were mixed, our own DJ Z assured us that the record was just a warm-up, and that the duo had much more in store for the future. Fast forward seven months, and the South Floridians are back with a brand new buzz single dedicated to a certain lady who has their Mind Blown. The topic has obvious appeal, and producer Cozmo (also seen on Long Distance Lover, Ain’t A Rap Song, and Kush Blow) imbues the cut with the club-ready feel that, though originally popularized by Snoop Dogg‘s Sensual Seduction, has since saturated the sound of the Southern underground. Though New Breed’s debut album, 15 Minutes ‘Till Fame, currently has no release date, fans should check back with the Booth this May for the official lead single.

Production is decent and has some club appeal. The hook is average and his lyrics are solid and I like his flow kinda reminds me of Flo Rida. decent

Nah...not feeling this at all! They sound like weak versions of Flo-Rida and he is terrible too! This just sounds so elementary...the lyrics, the chorus, the flow. The beat is a straight rip off of one of Akon's productions. This is not wussup.

The beat and vibe is pretty cool. The artists sound kind of cliche and corny though. Dude rapping sounds likes Plies/Pitbull. But rotation is goes.

These guys are in a crowded down south market with many acts, which sound identical to them. On this record, they are assisted nicely by Cozmo's friendly production, but the chorus is real weak. Nothing more than club appeal here, but in that arena, it should work.

na my dude, sounds different then floRida, they can at least adapt to the tracks beat, and change it up, the hook is tight, sorry dj z i have to dissagree with you, it deffinetly catches my attention and deffinetly is liked, this track is getting underrated here people, production, melody, flow, man all this is tight and works

This track is not bad, but its also not that great. The hook is cool and is kinda catchy, and I like the dance-friendly production. The verses are OK, nothin special.
