“The Loch Ness Monster” isn’t just a swamp creature. It’s also the moniker adopted by Elliott Ness (also known as E. Ness or Ness), who rose to fame on MTV’s “Making The Band.” Since then, Ness has been pursuing his solo career, and the results have been mixed to say the least. His latest single, Got It Like That, has a memorable hook, with Ness rhyming over a simple string sample. Maybe this will convince the brass at Bad Boy to push the Loch Ness Monster. That is, after Diddy releases the fourth and fifth singles from his 2006 album, Press Play.
I like tha chorus. That’s about it. I think the beat got potential with a little more bangn bass. It aint makin me wanna get the album. It’s just an aight song to cruise to. Nothin in tha song would make me put it on repeat.
