Whoa Nelly! Where’ve you been? Seems like more than just a marriage and new baby has been on the “to-do” list for Nelly Furtado; she’s also getting back to her musical ways. The Canadian pop-star comes with a brand new single Big Hoops” (Bigger The Better) from her forthcoming album The Spirit Indestructible. Kicking off with straight drums and plenty of effects, Nelly busts through the track with a new twang, adding a twisting mechanic to her voice for a sound that blends electro-pop, Indian music and New World edge. Darkchild did a number on this beat, it's a monster. A little unsure of Nelly's approach on the verses/bridge, but the hook was pretty catchy. This track should be able to add some more heat to the Summer.

This was one catchy track by Nelly Furtado... She was channeling Rihanna at times in the beginning, but it all sounds good. Production work was tight too...
