Last fall, Midwest favorite Nelly dropped his single, Wadsyaname, the first off his forthcoming album Brass Knuckles.  Unfortunately for Nelly, the single crashed and burned at radio and the album was pushed back indefinitely.  After taking time to hop back in the studio and redraft the album’s contents, Nelly has unleashed Party People.  Produced by Usher’s new best friend, Polow da Don, this meant-for-the-club single features the singing… and rapping… of the Black Eyed Peas very sexy, Fergie.  While an interchangeable chorus features un-Midwestern chopped n’ screwed vocals, the bassline will certainly favor Nelly’s reappearance in the club.  Brass Knuckles will be released this June.

Uh... who approved of Fergie's pic again? Haha. This is just the first listen, but I think Fergie actually beat Nelly! Or maybe I'm just down with this song yet...

What planet are you two from? This is a BANGER! (will sound GREAT at the parties-not so good out of computer speakers). Will make up for the flop that was Wadsyaname fo'reel (pun intended)

This is absolutely a club floor track; definitely where a beat like this belongs. But as a Nelly track, it's fairly weak. I prefer Nelly tracks where the majority of his lines DON'T consist of asking "Where my party people at?". Better than Wadsyaname? I think it is, but not by much. I applaud Nelly for trying so many directions, but he needs to go back to what worked for him. On the other hand, Fergie was bangin' on this track. Especially where she started spitting and transitioned to soft sensual fergie; HOT!

At first I was disappointed... but then I turned the bass on my speakers up and I felt the song. Its one of those songs that doens't sound good on pc speakers... but sounds excellent with a bass-heavy system

Fergie's little rap is soooo bent mate! ew to that son, but Nelly does aight I guess, but he needs to go back to his 'country grammar' type songs, cos thats when he was respected a lot more. This beat ain't bad, and I really like his second sped up verse, it was sick. but the part where she slows the song down would really really ruin a dance in the club if unexpected LOL, imagine that, damnnn son that would suck!

This a club banger for sure. Nelly came strong with this...when i first read Nelly ft Fergie I thought it would be mainstream-commercial pop, I was actually surprised at how hard they came on this one. I'm always a Nelly fan, so Im gonna give this one props

Fergie's attempt to spit in this joint-WEAK! donjonjon said it- they say 'party ppl' way too much. & Londons Finest- imagine the crowd when Fergie slows it down...lol...wow..not good! But once again, the beat is hard, bass is sick, but the artists attempt to match their skills with the producer's...FAILED. I think both Nelly & Fergie sound like they are desperately trying real hard to be 'kool' in this song. And that's not a good look.

idk yet. It will probably get plenty of play in clubs as well as stations this spring... but its a typical Nelly song (the over worked chorus) SOOOOOOOOO Repetitive.

Damn...If this is all he has left in him, then they should just keep this one on the shelf. I am not feeling this beat for Nelly. It's not a bad beat, but just not a good match for Nelly. I don't like the chorus at all. Fergie is good sometimes; but this just isn't my cup of tea. Both of them are much better than this.
