DJ Booth Exclusive Freestyle

The 103rd entry in our DJBooth.net Freestyle Series comes courtesy of NeakO, the Jersey native who earned reader acclaim for mixtape track I’m On It. On his brand new, previously-unreleased Pretty Girls freestyle, the World Team Olympics rapper flows over a Best Kept Secret produced beat originally featured on Wale‘s track of the same name. NeakO is currently preparing for the release of his latest mixtape, Jabari & The NMC Present…Neako: The Rubix Cube Blue Edition, on November 1.

Readers can download a copy of the newly-released In the Booth (Volume 2), featuring freestyles 31 through 60, here! In the Booth (Volume 1), featuring freestyles 1 through 30, can be downloaded here.

I loved Wale's version (the one before Gucci Mane came along), so I was pretty excited to hear what NeakO could do with the BKS boardwork. Needless to say, his energy, one-liners, and DJBooth-incorporation were all very enjoyable. Nice work!

Man.. posted on the wrong track (sigh). Great flow from NeakO (a.k.a. - The Lyrical Atom Bomb) on this track. Can't wait for the Nov. 1st drop.

Honestly the first time I've heard Neko and I'm digging his flow, he's got a punchline heavy flow, sort of like a more energetic, underground Fabolous. Good ish. (And nice work on the now old school "ella, ella" reference.)

His lyrics were good and I liked how he flowed, a lil off sounding yet perfectly connected with this pleasing beat. Rotation fa sho!
