Following a poor response to the single Do You, from both radio and video, singer/song-writer Ne-Yo decided to release Can We Chill as the third song off Because of You. Ready to be released to radio at the end of August, the song is produced by Eric Hudson who provides an up-tempo Michael Jackson-esque baseline with which Ne-Yo uses to satisfyingly harmonize over. Ne-Yo’s skills as a song writer far outshine his capability as a singer on Can We Chill; never does he try to do too much and always provides just enough.
oh my God i agree wit da person above me...i luv make it work!!! like before da album came out i used to come on here and listen to dat song everyday!! lol but yea neyo has sum betta songs on da album dat he coulda made a single.
Ne-Yo Should've came out with a different single than this. I liked 'Do You' better, and it really didn't get any response. So I'm wondering whats going to happen to this. 'Say It' would've did alot of damage.
