Naughty By Nature - Get To Know Me Better
Artist: Naughty By Nature
Producer: Kaygee
Album: Anthem Inc.
Label: Unsigned
When rap vets return to the game after years of absence, they’re often motivated by a desire to vent their righteous fury at a game they believe has lost its way, but Kaygee, Treach, and Vin Rock of Naughty By Nature are throwing their hats into the “comeback album” ring for a decidedly different reason. As evidenced by newly-released lead single Get To Know Me Better, the iconic Jersey threesome simply aim to have a good time doing what they do best: getting heads bobbing with infectious, crowd-pleasing rap anthems. Over Kaygee’s arpeggiated-synth boardwork, the O.P.P vets set their sights on the ever-popular topics of drinking, partying, and the female anatomy. It might not be the stuff of Shakespearean sonnets, but the emcees’ skills on the mic clearly haven’t faded—not to mention, this party-ready jam might be just the thing to get youngsters interested in getting to know NBN better. Is this new-school approach a good look for the iconic trio? If you think so, stay tuned for further release details on the group’s Anthem Inc. LP.

Not classic NBN material, but its great to hear they are back. Nothing will come close to their earlier hits, but hip-hop needs the vets to stick around.

This gonna get them back in the spotlight quicker than ... umm ... something else. I guees.
Aint feelin their flows/lyrics that much but that bass-line almost making my head hurt, but in a good way! ... anthemic chorus + smooth female vocals in backround always gets me ... Rotation. |

Copy & paste that1kid. At the beginning the song seemed to be a banger, but then it got a lil annoying. Anyway I consider it interesting

I agree w/"that1kid13" too. its a decent song, but i dunno if its a good idea for them to make a comeback.
btw, this reminds me of Pitbull's flow on "Go Girl." it sounds the same. |

Song reminds me of "Snoops - Murder Was The Case" It's a decent song but not a hit. I would not play this in the ride..
