The great thing about all Nappy tunes is their consistency. They all have a retro, throwback sound that is both comfortable and organic. They never try to do anything outside their zone, to the benefit of their longtime fans (and newcomers). I would have preferred Anthony Hamilton on this hook, but they didn't ask me.

Have yet to hear a song from Nappy Roots that has equaled or topped "Ride" from a couple years, ago. Hopefully that song will come soon.

This is smoking from the roots! Content is right on point with how we all feel at times. The vocal/hook is super catchy. I was hooked on the first set of bars..... MARK THAT A PLAYER.
