For Jack album producer Shoden!1 gives us an electronically drenched instrumental that rides smoothly for most of the track, then explodes with pounding percussion on the outro. Muzi uses that canvas to vocally paint a picture of a relationship that is causing him no shortage of heartache, but he still can’t let go. This song perfectly captures Muzi as an artist and the music you can expect from him on Somnolence V2. He starts off slow, lulls you into a comfort zone, and then rips and roars with vocal emotion over intensified production from Shoden!1. Love it.
