If there’s one event liable to send someone spiraling into self-doubt, it’s being dumped and watching your ex immediately run to the arms of—well, anyone, really; whether it’s a slicked-up jerk or jerk-ette you know will treat her (or him) badly or just some sensitive shmoe who’s better at playing guitar than you (true story), constantly seeing your former squeeze with someone who isn’t you just plain sucks, and anyone who’s been in that unenviable position will be able to relate to Mr. Hudson‘s latest feature. Originally previewed on an album sampler released two weeks ago, potential single Anyone But Him finds the London-based singer lamenting the loss of his lady to a flashy hustler with expensive rims. As on Supernova, G.O.O.D. Music boss Kanye West does double-duty—in addition to teaming up with the headliner to craft a downtempo, synth-driven beat, Yeezy makes a guest appearance as the aforementioned female’s new fella, mercilessly taunting his protégé with the steamy details. Depending on your personal romantic history, this might be a painful track to swallow Straight No Chaser, but those who find themselves humming along can find plenty more on Hudson’s stateside debut, set to hit stores August 4th.

that1kid13: he featured Kid Cudi in a song that he released today also, it was called Everything Is Broken,just to let u know, but it wasnt very good just like this compared to Supernova

Yeah, the Cudi song is alright. This has a really cool Euro vibe to it (obviously) that keeps me listening. I don't mind him using American mainsteam artists right now because it keeps him relevant and on the radar.
As for the song, pretty good production made for a guy like Mr. Hudson. Ye came through solid on here too. |

Beat alone is enough to put this in rotation in a banger status: it's so fresh, classy and full different instruments used in a tasteful way.
The autotune was unnecessary (I'm positive Mr. Hudson can sing) and didn't sound that well, plus the beat could have used a more natural approach. Still the lyrics and melody are interesting and pleasant. It's funny that I expected Kanye to sing, but there he goes showing he's still the best rapping! Love the beat change when he comes in, the flow and constant rhyme style was top notch! |

This is song is very relevant in my life right now... lol At any rate, the beat is kinda strange, yet good. I like the switches in the melody, complicated yet very organized. Not sure if this is hit material, but should add to a strong debut for Mr. H. Kanye is a beast on everything he raps on these days. I enjoyed this.

was looking forward to listening to this, but quite disappointed. sounds like auto tune is being used and it just doesn't seem to work. i was a huge fan of supernova, but this one is a disappointment. kanye is always solid as guest verses.

this dude....... i jus dont know wat to say bout him. never heard of him til Supernova... and now this, i think this guy goin to have a must buy album on his hands aug 4th.
as for the song, this guy continues to impress (big time). i like how they switched it up when kan-yeezy came in too. mr. hudson def held his own tho too. 1st two songs i ever heard from this guy, and they are both 5's to me. |

I prefer the other Hudson track that leaked today (that featured Kid Cudi), though this track is still reasonably solid. Hudson has some good vocals & the Kanye verse was also decent. The production was a little strange though it was still effective.

The only thing that drops this down to merely rotation status is the unecessary auto-tune. The production is different, I really appreciate how it creates an experience and builds. Kanye's part fits well, of course, it is his production. Highly relateable subject matter and decent melody push this into rotation for me.

just listened to the Mr Hudson ft Kid Cudi track titled "everything is broken" and that song is 10x better than "anyone but him". "Everything is broken" is on par with "Supernova".. be sure check it out.

Supernova is still the Hottest one out of three ....
Not very impressed with Kanye West’s prodigy Mr Hudson on this track. Maybe it’s the auto-tune? Kanye sounds great, and his verse is extremely tight. This one is a Grow-er while Supernova is a Show-er. Poduction is solid on this, most unpredictable outta all three joints... diggin it... BANGER!!! |

Looking forward to Mr Hudson's debut as well. Interesting to hear the pop sound Ye is running with on Hudson's tracks. Definitely an extension of his sound on 808s.
Not Kanye's best flow, but love hearing him play the role of the prick here. |

This song is tight in some parts, the end of kanye's verse is tight and the beginning of H's is good too. This is a good song.. I wish that Kanye didnt use autotune in all of his songs tho.
