With their Booth debut, Who’s Your Daddy (and its Nipsey Hussle-featuring remix), Mook N Fair put a fresh spin on the time-tested topics of paper-stacking and game-spitting, assisted by J. Stone‘s Time of the Season-sampled beat. On the follow-up single, the Connecticut-based twosome bring their infectious brand of freshness to another popular lyrical theme, singing and rapping the praises of a female whose smooth moves have the dancefloor in flames. How She Movin may not have the benefit of an instantly-recognizable sample, but Mental Instruments rise to the occasion regardless, backing the duo’s lustful bars with a catchy, club-ready mix of piano, handclap percussion and synth-strings. Hungry for more hot rhymes and body-moving beats from these promising up-and-comers? You’re in luck – though their The Best Kept Secret street album doesn’t hit the net till December 1, Mook N Fair are set to drop a self-titled mixtape and EP next week. And if that‘s not enough, you can also expect a Booth-exclusive freestyle from the pair sometime this winter.

This is decent. The melody was pretty hot but the rest of it was kinda off. These guys have no pitch and the 'How She Movin' repeat was overused. They need better, but I'm mildly impressed.

love the $hyt outta the beat,lyrically-i agree, could of been better, but not bad..the "how she movin" piece i don't believe was over used, especially if this track hits it big at the clubs with the ladies, and if it does-that piece "how she movin" is gonna be something they'll wanna showcase their moves,and/or body to on the floor,ya feel me

The usage of the siren in the beat is overdone, but the bounce of the production definitely caries the song from start to finish. Overall, though, the song lacks any "umph" during the verses.

The chorus is catchy, but I think something is missing.

Beat has a Timbo vibe, agree with Z beat carries the song, nothing special about the verses.

I know I should have an intricate, intelligent and thoughtful reason for why I wasn't liking this cut, but the only thing I can really say is....shrug. Ah, it's ok.

Its like they trying too hard, cramming up all the supposed club elements. The result is glitchy and that hook is way too longer/repetitive than it has any right to be. Sure, the tempo is energetic enough to dance to but, overall, it's a misfire.
