Is Waterboarding torture? The hip-hop game is about to find out firsthand, judging by Mobb Deep‘s latest effort. A bonus cut off the physical edition of the NYC street mainstays’ latest EP, this deceptively chill jam finds The Alchemist flipping a mellow jazz sample (accented by splashing-water sound effects) as Havoc and Prodigy regale us with descriptions of the “enhanced interrogation” techniques they’re looking forward to utilizing on their rivals. For more, head down to your local record shop (if it still is standing) and pick up a copy of Black Cocaine, available in stores and online as of the 21st.

I like this a lot. The beat was very different and I didn't even know it was Alchemist until I looked up. Good chorus. I like this track... Perfect Hustla-Music!

blaze i think this sounds like 2011 alc fasho and i love the way prodigy flips into double time for the hook. the way havoc does the rick ross thing to start his verse almost made me walk away tho :(

There was a point in time where I thought that Mobb Deep's career was over. They had just signed to G-Unit and released a less than average album and then Prodigy went away to jail. It's good to see them back doing what they do best, though. I don't think they'll ever be as good as they were in the past, but heres to making good tracks. Solid song.
