Fresh off the release of Who U Gon Turn To?, Bay Area mainstay Mistah F.A.B. returns with a record designed to truly make us think. New release Childish features a slowly burning beat from producer Cy Fyre that F.A.B. uses to reveal the street’s childish ways. Comparing his peers to “monkeys in the zoo”, Fabby Davis proves he isn’t afraid to preach against the so-called street life by laying down a barrage of lyrically driven bars: “You still a little boy you got some growin’ up to do, you still think thuggin’ and sellin’ drugs is cool”. F.A.B. clearly isn’t afraid to take a stance on Childish, which means we can expect more fearless hip-hop when his currently untitled and unscheduled collaborative EP with Fyre is released to the masses.
