The expression “It’s Whatever,” implies indifference, but don’t get it twisted; if you have any affinity whatsoever for the hip-pop subgenre known as “frat rap,” your reaction will be anything but apathetic. Fueled by the irresistibly catchy keyboard chords of Louis Bell, this cut finds the Providence, Rhode Island representative buzzmaker trading wry, irreverent bars with Bostonian viral hitmaker Sammy Adams. Whatever isn’t currently attached to a larger set, but fans will be able to hear more fresh material from Mike Stud on his Closer EP, scheduled for independent release next Monday, July 7.
