Most 20-year-olds who attend Duke University have time to do only two things: study and support Blue Devil basketball. Luckily for us, Michigan native Mike Posner is not “most 20-year-olds.” Along with his group, The Brain Trust, Posner is looking to educate the student body on his hip-pop talents, both on the mic and behind the boards. On Smoke n’ Drive, Posner backs his lyrical lesson with soft piano notes and hard-hitting synthesized drums, and provides a gruff chorus encouraging listeners to “roll the windows up, light it up, and take a puff.”  Providing feature accompaniment are Great Lake State emcee and G.O.O.D. Music signee Big Sean and Georgia natives Donnis and Jackie Chain. Posner’s DJ Benzi and Don Cannon-presented mixtape, A Matter of Time, is available now for free download; take a listen… and then get back to your homework.

Ok. I think this is OK. But to be honest Big Sean sounds like a Kanye West wanna be. He should find his own style. Other than that it's ok

Don't sleep on Posner. A friend of mine sent me over some of his stuff a couple weeks ago...dude is that deal. This here is hot, but nowhere near some of his work. Production went hard as well, almost too hard to match his style.

This is alright. It's not bad, but Mike Posner seems out of place on here. No one really stood out to me, but Big Sean did good. Overall, this is average.

Mike Posner's production is fire on this but thats all Im feeling. The verses by the various artists are solid but not much to talk about. Love the hook and piano throughout it! In rotation

The highlight on this one is obviously the production, which is real nice. The hook is kinda strange, but its very stoner-friendly and I actually like the raspy/off vocals a lot.

To be honest I slept on the last two verses. They were OK, but the first verse killed me. I think it was Big Sean, and this dude is now on my radar. On his last booth feature he yells "the next dynasty" speaking of GOOD Music. Kanye may have somethin here wit this dude, we'll see. I like what Posner is doin, especially so young and in school.
