Three years later, the Houston native hopes to release his long awaited follow-up,The Voice of The Streets, this April, after watching his American Dream DVD/CD go bust. While his current single Drop and Gimme 50 has remained stagnant at radio, My Burner, a collaboration with Plies, makes an entrance into our DJBooth. The track is an ode to Mike’s favorite gun, and to show us how much he loves it, he graces the beat with his singing vocals. Yup, never a dull moment in this industry.

Akon is producing a whole lot of music lately. This is one of his weaker tracks in my opinion. I don't like the way Mike Jones tries to flow like Akon at all. I'm not feeling his flow at all on here. It's pretty average.
I'm with AEO & Blaze. Plies held his ground, but Mike trying to be Akon on the hook just throws this song off. The beat is dope, though.. Lol, and this is only a demo.
Something about this song gets me. Yea it sounds low budget or soemthing but it has a nice vibe to it. The beat is up-tempo and Mike is ridin the beat. The singin is ok I guess cuz he's just feelin himself... but once he starts rhymin that's where it shines
damnnnnn man, Im sayin, put Akon on the hook instead of Mike Jones' annoying singing voice, keep the rapping the same, and with a couple of little other tweaks this song will be a hit! Plies tears it up and Mike has a pretty decent part when hes rapping. re-do it, then I will call it a banger/classic

I like the beat. Production well done. Could've been used by some1 with a little more talent. Ummmm, Mike Jones, mocking Akon? Wtf is that? Not feelin that at all. It depends on ur style of singin... didnt like Mike Jones singin at all... but Plies put a little umph in it with his voice... i wouldnt listen to it if i had a choice...

i like it honestly. and imma give mike the extra point for givin us the heads up that he cant sing. i wish other artists did that and the way he's sayin its a demo makes me think it might not make the album or that the song isnt finished. so keepin that in mind it still earned a 4
