Remember how awful Speed 2: Cruise Control was? How Keanu Reeves’ character was carelessly written out of the plot, which didn’t make all that much sense to begin with? Well, that has absolutely nothing to do with the Cruise Control, the latest single from Brooklyn-based rapper Mike Jaggerr; I just figured that, by reminding you of something really bad, I could make this dope record sound even more dope by comparison. You’re welcome. Anyway… making its world premiere right here in the Booth, this joint finds the Booth newcomer demonstrating his skills on the mic and behind the boards, constructing a hazy, chromatic instrumental backdrop for his laid-back musings on top-down cruisin’. Supporting Jaggerr on the guest tip is a Booth favorite; on the back, Big K.R.I.T. shares some acrobatically-flowed thoughts on everything from candy-painted whips to the Man Upstairs. Does this sound like something you could cruise to? Then you can expect plenty more whip-ready jams on The Eleventh Hour, set to hit the ‘net (appropriately enough) on the 11th.

Take a minute to remember when you first heard Mike Jaggerr. You'll thank us later. I know we are not the first website/blog to jump on the emcee/producer's bandwagon, but believe you me we are going to stay on for the long ride. K.R.I.T. was an excellent choice for the guest verse, but I could also hear Wiz Khalifa smashing this production.

The production grabs you right off the bat and keeps you hooked from start to finish. Bits of the hook seemed a bit off, but I did in fact enjoy Mike's verse. K.R.I.T. nearly stole the show with his part. All around good track.

The production is crazy to say the least. Simple and eloquent + the rhymes from both jagger and KRIT were excellent. A song to definitely chill with looking forward to 11th hour definitely

Huge fan of MJ, different sound from a NY artist and I love his wordplay and flow on the track. The beat is simply hypnotic and draws you in right off the bat. Thought the hook could have been done better but I won't get too picky. Hot track!

I'm not quite hooked in by the first listen, but it sounds like a track that could grow on me as I listen to it more. The production pretty much put me in a trance, which can be a good thing, just not when you're cruisin down the highway. I'm interested to hear more from MJ cuz this was a good effort, and Big K.R.I.T. was a good guest choice.

This track is BK meets Cali. After i finished listening to this I remembered Will Smith's cruisin song and smirked at how much better this is.

Mike Jagger made a good record right here.... I dont like the production tho.... its a lil too much noise for such smooth verses and a smooth feel. Having Big K.R.I.T. in this was a big plus tho. I love everything that he is in, and he made a good contribution to this song. I cant honestly rate this with 4 stars, cuz of the production. So therefore, in rotation for me.
