Gaining experience as a ghostwriter for Kelis (on Ahh Sh*t!) and a member of Danity Kane member D. Woods’ side project, The Girls’ Club, the multi-talented Mika Means recently inked a recording contract with Universal Motown after only 15 minutes with the label president.  Means, who is tentatively set to release her debut in the first quarter of ‘09, knows exactly what she wants from the men around her, and is willing to tell them up front; she just wants to Spend Ya Money.  The record’s producer lives up to his name; Catalyst provides a beat that will undoubtedly set off a strong reaction amongst experienced radio programmers.  When it comes to bringing her new sound to the ears of listeners worldwide, let’s just say Mika means business.

lol! Good production. I guess we talk about what we want outta woman. So I guess this is cool. Production is generic, but still decent.

I kinda like the production, the only thing that holds me back is the resemblance to previous works, like “Imma flirt”… it sounds like several songs put together (one of them being “Soulja girl”, by SB). As for Mika, I don’t know, maybe it’s cuz I read the summary first so I was already on her spell :p then I enjoyed her, but I must say: one T-Pain in the industry is enough!!! Bring some fresh and distinctive vocals and all the above mentioned talents will make you a complete solid artist. 3.5*

This is not my kind of record and I personally don't enjoy her work, but I can see how it could work at radio. Her style is unique and her stage name is certainly not average. I'd like to hear more from her. Shouts to my man, Chris!

She definitely sounds like a dude. Erase her, give this beat to Lloyd or Trey Songz, rearrange the lyrics, and you have a hit. But as for Mika, she's not cutting it. Sounds too much like a dude. It's really awkward. That's really, really weird. On the real. This song is pretty tyte....but....it's a dude singing. But it's a girl singing. Or wait, it's a dude-girl singing. IDK. See how confusing this all is. That's why the plug needs to be pulled on this.

This would've been raw with an MIA sample but it doesn't have that and this is typical radio tranny garbage.
