Having just scored a deal with Jive Records, you’d think that rising R&B star Miguel would be feeling like he’s on top of the world, right? Well, he would be, if it weren’t for one little thing: he’s still kicking himself over walking away from the girl of his dreams. New single All I Want Is You finds Miguel pining after a lost love, but the singer’s sorrow turns out to be listeners’ gain. With the help of veteran producer Salaam Remi, who sets a refreshingly retro mood with subdued organ and electric guitar, he crafts a tune that’ll have R&B-lovers nodding along despite the downbeat subject matter. Roc Nation flagship artist J. Cole turns in a characteristically dope performance on the guest tip, expanding upon the record’s theme on the front and back end. Like what you’re hearing? Keep it locked for the latest details on Miguel’s forthcoming debut full-length, which has yet to receive either a title or a release date from the label brass.

J. Cole is pretty nice i hope he surprises me with something big...i don't know this isn't nothing special to me at all...its not a bad song, but i felt my self getting tired/bored of this song...maybe it has to grow but right now its nothing great or extraordinary...J. Cole had some bars but i don't feel even he lived up to par

Kinda slow but I got into this as it went on. Loved the different elements of the production. J. Cole was solid though he didn't blow me away. Miguel turned in some nice vocals. This is one of those songs I could put on when the mood strikes, but nothing on repeat.

As fate would have it, I was at teh U-N-I show Friday night when Miguel came on stage and rocked the f**k out. He definitely won me over then, and he's continuing to do so here. Great verse from Cole, but Miguel vocally knows how to get smooth without getting boring. This dude's got a bright future.

The beat is nice but it could've been better with a less focus on drums. The rest is all good stuff.

I only listened to this song to hear how dope J. Cole was gonna be and ironically he was decent, nothing great, and the artist I was gonna ignore was who had me feeling the song. Miguel was great and owned the record. If only Salaam's beat would of not been so repetitive I would of been a banger.

This is an OUTSTANDING record! Everything about it just flows incredibly smooth from Miguel's unwrinkled verses to J. Cole's EXCELLENT guest contribution. [Plays Again]

I'm falling asleep here, don't see any purpose for people to make songs like this. It doesn't add anything to music already out there.

Very smooth beat. Almost reminds me of some Jazz I listen to. Very simple smooth beat. The lyrics are just ok kinda slow

Miguel Jontel is incredibly talented. Making the audience feel him through this vocals which many mainstream artists fail to do anymore without talking about sex. J Cole def brings in new listeners and his verses showcase his talent very well. Don't sleep on Miguel this West Coast singer has big things in his future.

the hook is wonderfully done. done with enough emotion so its not satirical but rather a true show of love lost. production is smooth enough to keep you in that laid back mode.
J Cole does his thing as always. i'd say its average for him cause i now put him on a higher pedastel than most. Dopish music its a banger |

I've recently changed my mind about this song. It's a classic. I find myself playing this song to enliven my passion for older Miguel songs and J. Cole is adds a fresh new sound to his collection. Wish I could change my rating but the after having this on my morning rotation, blasting the radio when I hear the beat drop, there's no denying it's classic rating.
