The ‘split personality’ angle has been a trendy pick amongst many artists (Tyrese, Cassidy and T.I.), who for entertainment value, have decided to battle themselves in a fight for musical supremacy. Next up on the fight card is newcomer Metro, who is leaving it to his listeners to decide: Prophet or Playboy. On his new buzz single the first blow is landed by the Playboy, who describes just how Lavish Metro could make life for a would-be lady. Assissting with a smooth hook is DTP’s resident R&B crooner Bobby Valentino and a piano-harp mix on the beat comes courtesy of producer Key Kat. So, with round one in favor of the Playboy, will the Prophet get something going? Check back in May when the Prophet or Playboy scorecard is released.
Even if this beat is used a fair bit too often, I still love how it makes every track flow. Bobby V does his thing does his thing for the hook, and even though Metro wasn't really a standout on this track; as a package this song works for me.
The dude Metro looks a lil Metro! But I really like the beat here; but the chorus is WEAK and kinda kills the beat. This sounds like he was in Miami on south beach just explaining what he sees while he is just talking to you. We could get this on a phone call instead of a song honestly. The bobby valentino chorus is pretty corny as well. Metro is pretty weak...
No emotion sound like he was just in the studio with his notepad in his face reading word for word off the pad more like he was nervous giving a speech....just rambling....bobby v is the only justice on this song beat aint bad
they stole dat beat from somewhere- i don't like it at all. I would like dis song a lot but wit a whole different style of beat...it needs to be and stay smooth.
