Memphis Bleek is back in the Booth, ladies and gentlemen. Since slipping us a batch of featured records this past winter, the Brooklyn native has remained quiet, working daily in his studio on material for his forthcoming album, The Process. As he explained in a February interview, however, the new project will likely not drop until the fourth quarter of the year (at the earliest). Regardless, Bleek wants all of his longtime fans to know one thing: there will be No Drought of brand new music. On the new song, the former Roc Boy explains that when there is money to be made, no excuses are allowed. So, until Bleek’s long-delayed fifth studio album arrives, it’s by any means necessary.
I've lost all hope for Memph. I love him as an artist, but I think he is just way past his opportunity to be considered a heavyweight. Sucks for a guy who's been in the game for over 10 years and has only had one solid banger in his career. This song is ok, but nothing special
The production on this is nice. Memphis Bleek is straight. He keeps it simple on here. I like his swagga on this, but he could've came better than this. C'mon now. I could do without a Memphis Bleek comeback.
I agree with tkxxx7 You gotta bring it harder than this memp. You gotta give us a solid album of all hits in order to create just a decent buzz. No worrys cause being Jay's right hand man is not a bad place to be. Just travel the world man, spend money do music for the love and enjoy life. You RICH! AND thats it!
i tell ppl Memphis Bleek is the Kwame Brown (Kwame is now with the Memphis Grizzlies, coincidence? i think not) of the rap game...this track proves my point! He had Jay-Z (JAY-Z!!!!!) backing him but like kwame, who had Kobe (KOBE!!!!) he can't make a hit....sad cases of wasted talent!
I'm really feeling the beat here, it makes me move. But I'm not feeling him, he's boring! I'm about to stop the player, and I've listened to only 1 minute of song! it's ok for the beat
This shit is decent, ma'fukkas always hating on Bleek the fact is dude is aight he does what he does plays his part and thats why he still in the game..
Bleek need to come harder on this, its just too dull. I'd rather listen to Free and Beans spit, cause they actually comin hard. Hopefully the Roc can come back together, I been missin State Prop.
"While Jay is alive he is a millionaire"! nuff said. If this was on another beat, maybe more people would like it. Its cool though. But damn Bleek, u just need to chill. Every track he does now on is going to be considered a comeback track......damn shame.
I really like the beat on this but I think Bleek lost his aspiration to rhyme after The Understanding...it seemed like he was just riding on the limelight of bein wit Jay and the Roc...he disappointed wit his albums thereafter...not really looking forward to his upcoming album if it drops...
