To the casual hip-hop listener, Baton Rouge is a one-label city, as Trill Entertainment has established Webbie, Lil’ Boosie, Foxx, and 3Deep as bona-fide Southern hip-hop stars.  Other Red Stick City labels need not worry, however, as rapper Max Minelli (real name, no gimmick) has The Remedy.  On U Gotta Luv Me Baby, the MC spits a rather addictive flow; reminding listeners that while he’s been a successful underground artist since ‘89, his hometown folk deserve more.  Adding some needed hit power, producer Happy Perez (who has worked with Baby Bash, Frankie J and Juvenile) throws in an electric guitar that most audiences—well, gotta luvThe Remedy drops May 13; buy a copy and call us in the morning.

Never heard of this cat but I am feeling this track from beginning to end. Beat is SERIOUS (credit to Manny Perez). Hook is on point: simple and to the point. I like the guitar riff in the background. Yes a a 3.5 right here.

I wonder how the good 'ol folks in Louisiana feel about my man Max rockin' the Pittsburgh Pirates hat? On a side note, this is an all around solid effort. Watch out for Max's new album dropping very soon.

This guy is not bad. Compared to the other cats that were named by Burmy in the review, I feel this guy is the best to do it in this style. Probably because he's a veteran. I'm not really to interested by this song myself, but it's decent.

This song is weird, maybe because of that background electric guitar...the beat is good, it's in rotation to me! I'm surprised by myself, I keep on finding good every song lol
