Like it or not, Rick Ross knows how to market his Maybach Music Group in its infant stages. Recent signees dropping new or reworked tracks, the chain glimmering in each new music video shot states that Ross is leading this luxury vehicle the same way Master P led No Limit in its glory days. Originally thought to be left behind with the wave of new guys coming in, MMG’s crooner Masspike Miles re-releases his own Little Soldier apparently primarily because the song just means that much to him. Originally leaked in August, the beefed up Soldier finds Miles using his trembling vocals over Surefire Music Group’s plodding drums and snares to explain the tale of a man and a woman lost in their own misfortunes (one by being a dead beat & the other by living a chaste life). It’s actually a welcome track and proves that Miles‘ The Road Less Traveled EP may stretch his talents far beyond a hook for his boss, but with all the action going on around him, here’s hoping it’s not a project that gets lost in the shuffle.

Great song. Deep beat & the voice is great. A little more comple lyrics wouldve made it a classic, good tho. First song of Masspike I've ever listened to.

There's nothing I can really say about this record except this is a great piece of music from the vocals, lyrics and music. I can't wait to see what Ross does w/ Teedra if this is what his r&b is sounding like from the camp.

Maybach Music Group is really putting together some good artists for their recent "rebirth". Between Masspike Miles, and other R&B artists such as Teedra Moses, I'm really excited to see whats to come. Production is on point here, along with a great vocal by Mr. Miles.

Arguably, the best record that I've ever heard from Miles. Shows true artistry, depth as a singer, and non-conformity. Hope there is more where this came from...

I never expected anything like this from MMG. Apparently we should not underestimate Rozay and his group of artists. This is a really good song both in prodcutions and lyrics / vocals.

I saw he was Maybach and was not expecting much at all. However, Miles blew me away. He clearly has loads of talent and he showcases it well on this smooth beat, his voice commands attention. I hope he keeps his own style and isn't corrupted by Maybach and Ross.
