The son of a jazz musician, “Masspike Miles” Wheeler got into music early, fronting an R&B group at the age of 11, but his biggest break occurred much more recently. Introduced to Rick Ross colleague Shank Ahmir while the Boss was in town for a concert, Miles forged a relationship that led to a deal with Ross’ Maybach Records. Now, the Boston up-and-comer is getting ready to release his first studio album, The Struggle. Miles’ debut single, Get It Together, paired the singer with Ross to create a record with considerable crossover appeal, and his latest offering takes a similar approach, placing him opposite ATL emcee Shawty Lo as he serenades his Perfect Woman. In contrast to the more street-oriented lead single, however, Arex Productions’ synth-heavy beat pushes the record into club territory. No release date has been set for The Struggle, but Perfect Woman may be just the thing to speed it onto store shelves.

.... the club factor in the song doesnt sound like it should be there... I dont like it that much. And that repetitve key bang sound like that dre song gets kind of annoying..

The production sounds heavy and gritty. That was a plus definitely for the song. (Jermaineatl, I think the "Dre" band was good) That's where the "addition" stopped. This hardcore thug looking cat starts singing. Wowzers WTF? LOL. The joint was decent tho. The mix could have been better. How the heck can LO come on off beat? WTF. Then had the nerve to mention my state in his flow. Someone Yung Berg this fool. Songs gets a 2 for Masspike.

haha.. i forgot shawtly lo was an artist.. masspike was alright for the most part. the production was ok. LO was ofcourse.. being himself.. self explanatory..

My man Miles has some real nice talent. The song didn't need a guest feature - Shawty Lo will receive criticisms - but this should develop so much needed national buzz for him.
Without a doubt, this is in rotation.

His voice is supa cute haha....i like it. Though, I don't think Shawty Lo belonged on this track- it was kinda just a random feature- didn't really fit. Also- I thought the beat didn't flow togther right either. It's a 2.5.

Beat is gritty. I gotta admit his voice doesn't seem to go with it. With this beat I would wanna hear a Game verse or someone. This can grow on me, but concept and beat have to have some unspoken relation in order for the song to make sence to me. When I hear this I ain't thinkin bout my girl. This is just ok. Never did get to Lo's verse but I know what to expect.
