The 164th entry in our DJBooth.net Freestyle Series comes courtesy of MarVo, a Chicago native and co-writer of Ludacris’ latest single, Sex Room. On his brand new, exclusive All the Way Turnt Up freestyle, the Supreme Money Makers emcee flows over a KE On the Track -produced instrumental originally featured on Roscoe Dash‘s single of the same name. MarVo is currently working on a new mixtape entitled Just Add Water, which has yet to receive a release date.

And this is how the original would have sounded if an emcee with skills like MarVo had been able to do it. Chicago's very own and making me proud. The kids rips everything he touches and this is certainly no different.

Anyone on who can straighten me out here cause I know a very similar beat to this was on Lupe's Enemy of the State mixtape with the name Turnt Up.
Was that a freestyle by Lupe or what? Cause Lupe's my favorite artist and it's drivin me crazy. On topic though this is a strong track, weak subject but flows well and is impressive. |

"I'm out, but then I'm back in..."! I didn't understand what yall were talking about until after that line. This kids not bad. This version's miles ahead of the original, but Lupe's a living legend. Its not fair to compare them.

This kid just MURDERED it and no I'm not exaggerating. Cool to have all the DJbooth shoutouts as well. Was a fan of the original so I would've liked to hear Dash's hook but other than that, a definite Banger!

There's no doubting that this beat is an epic banger, and that Roscoe didn't exactly kill it. Problem solved. I'd have to agree with Kidd (Lupe crushed this freestyle) but MarVo comes hard too. So far it's a hell of a night on the Booth, I can't go lower than four stars. Props.

Production is crazy! The moment I heard him flowing on this, I knew that this kid was talented. "I get on the track and tarnish the beat..." He did so much more. If this is really a freestyle then by god, MarVo is amazing.
Roscoe's version was in my opinion not nearly as half as good as this, but by all means I'm open to criticism. MarVo is on my radar and I hope that he is able to really release some more solid material. |

It's hot but this production is way overused. I fina make an all star mix with this dude on it though. I place him just behind Lupe and in front of luda. His flow is sick and I really wanna see how he does on a production of his own. Dude's got talent for sure. Enjoy the chorus. Glad the chorus wasn't included in this.

This freestyle should have been released as the original track.
MarVo just rips up the track, his verses are insane. This kid has the midas touch cause everything he touches turns to gold. Way to GO MarVo!!!!!!!! |
