We in the Booth have been riding with Marky since before he’d even started packing for his Journey to Markyland, USA but, of course, not everyone can be ahead of the curve. One of three previously unreleased bonus cuts to appear on the compilation, Infinity finds the freestyle series alum looking back on the ground he’s covered to date, and dreaming of the success that lies in his future. The Madman handles production duties, crafting a cinematic piano-synth instrumental as the emcee does a little soul-searching: “For all the people tryin’ to make it in the game, what’s the point if all you want is a little fame? Trust me, I had time to really ponder on my brain whether or not I’m usin’ my voice to make change or make change…” Released today, The Rest Stop Series is out now online, and Rest Stop 2 is still available for free streaming and download right here in the Booth.  "I haven't made an honest dollar off this rap sh*t." Real recognize real, that is about the most truthful an emcee has ever been... ever. (Crazy considering far less talented and charismatic emcees have made plenty of money in the game).
The production sounds likes something the NBA would pluck for their "Amazing Happens..." campaign and its that same angle that helps drive this record into motivational territory. I could rock this on repeat.

Dope track (minus the out of place ending). Props for the skillful lyrics and masterful production. Imma check out Marky's back catalogue; if he can consistently lay down tracks like this, consider me a fan.

Sometimes he sounds like steve ircle, he's gotta watch that, it could get annoying. But he deserves to be paid unlike some of these weak artists. Me myself, I have stopped making music. Its just not worth it anymore, the fans are not fans anymore, their crooks. Stealing music through piracy and you expect me to drop a FREE MIXTAPE?? Ha! yeah.. RIGHT. I feel ya pain son, an hope he becomes a much larger success, because now days, the artists are the ponds, and the business aspect is the queen of this industry. What can you do?
