Considering the city’s high crime rates and reputation as the “big ballin’” capital of the world, you’d expect Las Vegas to breed plenty of big-name hip-hop artists, but, for whatever reason, that isn’t the case. Marion Write, a dual Sin City/Virginia Beach native who reps Vegas’ positive side, is looking to change that. On this newly-released mixtape cut, the emcee asks that Everybody Move and vibe to his new-school sound. Fellow up-and-comer Nique chips in a middle verse, but the highlight here is Write‘s up-tempo, Kanye-inspired beat, centered around a sample from College Dropout track Two Words. Everybody Move is the perfect soundtrack to a leisurely cruise among the bright city lights—those digging this track are sure to find more to their liking on Marion Write’s Epilogue to Greatness mixtape, set to hit the net August 21st.

This is hot. Marion seems to have Roc influences mixed with our west coast as well. I'm enjoying this summer beat. Sounds like a track Amarie would sing over. Good intro track.

If production is the draw-in, instantly grabbing your attention, its Marion and Nique's lyrics that hold you up to repeated listens ...And a sampled chorus that's just made for this beat like white bikinis are made for Jessica Alba ... BANGER!!!

The world has been sleepin on my dude, and now he's at errybody chin with the smoothness!! LeMERZ JAMES & NIQUE BRYANT KILLED IT!!!!! I cant go back and rewind but the line was somethin like "Yall need to stop sleepin seein 350z..ni.ssaann" i know i prolly raped that somewhere but yall feel me, the wordplay and punchlines between the 2, is enough to bruise up your eyes and give you coliflower ears like UFC!! An OK beat. This is not Vegas hiphop tho, more like amateur Virginia Beach. This dude swears he is signed and dropping an album, and no1 even checks for him In Real LIfe. He lives some rap fantasy dream thats not coming true, he need to be checked into rehab and to get a real job.

See i knew this guy would pull thru with some classic sounds. This is too fresh right here. Rapper/Producers now a-days are getting much more talented. I'd love to hear him and j.cole on a record.
Again, it seems like Vegas won't show him love, well the rest of the nation would i think. |

I wrote a whole response on how much he sounds like J. Cole, but then I took Z's advice and went back an listened to some other songs. Marion Write has his own style, and its nice. I think it just happened on this track that he touched on the same topics J. Cole is notorious for.
I will keep an eye out for Epilogue to Greatness for sure. |
