They remixed it again? Yes, they remixed it again. This time around, Mariah’s Touch My Body gets a new beat, again courtesy of guest feature The-Dream, and a rap verse from Def Jam’s current main man, Mr. Trilla. Although this version isn’t labeled as the “dance remix”, a sped-up tempo and ad libs from both guest features make it scream “play me in the club now!” In related Mariah news, this week’s most updated Billboard charts feature the 38-year-old singer (who looks more like 24) inching closer to The King, Elvis Presley, for the most #1 singles of all-time record. E=MC², Carey’s 11th studio album, drops on April 15.
Don't like this at all. This brings the song down. They need to leave it to the original. I usually never for this to any Mariah Carey song ever (not even her Glitter tracks). But I have to give a 2 for this poor remix.
I actually like this a lot, dont know why yall are hatin. the production is sick, and the way mariah controls the song is quality, will definitely bump this on the road!
I don't like so much the original song...I prefer this remix, really! It's just that Mariah bores me. She has such a beautiful voice, but in my opinion with this kind of songs she doesn't fully exploit her voice potential! She whimpers *lol*
Would not go on my iPod
They're trying to make it reach commerical appeal since it hasn't taken off the way they thought it was. This song is probably best suited for someone else.
I actually loved the remix, Mariah was able to exploit her voice more, Mariah usually sings songs that you can feel, this song has corny lyrics "n my biznes lika Wendys interview" I think Rick added a lil gangsta appeal, with a nice bass flowing beat.
i've always known mariah carey with completely mental. this track just proves it. thank god for rick ross and the dream because they tried to help her silly ass out.
I dont like this as much i did the original, i dont think ross helped it out at all, his voice doesnt really match up with the beat in my opinion, and the beat is wayy different you can tell, but 2 for effort.
