Though concert promoter Live Nation recently announced that they came to terms with Sean “Jay-Z” Carter on a ten year multi-venture deal, estimated at around $150 million, the great Hova has not yet officially waved Bye Bye to his friends and family at Def Jam.  Following the release of current (but soon to be former) labelmate, Mariah Carey‘s new album, E=MC², Carter has jumped on a Jermaine Dupri (who else?) produced remix of Carey’s new single, Bye Bye.  Most famously heard together on the DJ Clue-produced Heartbreaker, off Mariah’s Rainbow, Carter and Carey once again create a most magical collaboration. E=MC² is currently available in stores and at online retailers.

I think Jay-Z does his thing on this track! He sounds good with Mariah in the background. MC does her thing too (as usual) and her voice is amazing! JD does good on the beat too! This is an all around BANGER! Good Quality music hear!

DAMN!!! i am loving this right here! Jay-Z really did his thing here! This should replace the original for the official single (eg video for this, radio play, etc) I'm boldly saying that this is a Classic and one of Mariah's best to date

MC and Jay-Z always bring the house down. Bye Bye is most definitely a 'Mariah' song, but Jay-Z gave it that little extra nudge that will give it some nice airplay methinks. One thing I've noticed about E=MC^2, is that the album is definitely showing all the new female artists how it's done.

Jay-Z's bit is BADD!! If U like his flow on this go & check out ma boi Scribe's music, soundz heaps like this!! Doin a lil bit of New Zealand music advertising here but honest go check it out.. Mariah has such a developed voice and I just can't understand why she doesnt challenge herself by producing all these songs..it's become her style but i love her songz where she puches hurself to the limit unw?!.. Dam if I hada voice like hurz i would'nt be makin a song like this.. but i like it, shez done better thow

this is why jay-z is STILL the best rapper alive (shoutout to lil wayne fans) i didnt think the song could get any better but i was wrong. Jay-z meshed perfectly with this song. in my opinion the original was a banger and the remix is definetly a banger

It's cool but he doesn't add anything that Weezy or Ludacris probably would of brought to the table. Just flow with the beat

Oh ya y'all I was hooked on this remix at the opening. JD always puts his foot in a mix. He understands a remix is not just added a rap verse to the orginal song. Is there a JD mix for Touch My Body? I was waitin' on that one.

This remix is better than the original, but I didn't think the original was all that tight anyway. I like JD when he works wit Mariah Carey because he's pretty consistent with his creativity. This beat is good with JD's additions. Of course Jay is the highlight of the song. Heis STILL the best rapper alive.

Typically this is not my type of music, but who can resist a Mariah Carey remix produced by JD? Jay's verse is straight GOLDEN. A smooth opening leads to a dope ass well played verse. Mariah well... shes Mariah :) I would definetely rate this as a banger. Very nice.

It's amazing seeing Mariah still hangin' in there. That's what it's all about, being able to stay relevant. She gaining more fans with a new generation. Me and Mimi go way back tho. lol. This is good by the way. Jay-Z did his thang.

I think I'm the only person on the planet who ain't feelin this song! I feel like I'm wrong for that 4 some reason. Anyway Jay saves it for me. I know what it is, sounds too much like PAC's Life goes on which I unfortionatly learned to hate after Big Boy played the song every single day around 8:00am Monday through Friday! Los Angeles natives may know what I'm talkin bout. Anyway 4 that reason I don't really like this song. By the way, 2PAC is THE GREATEST RAPPER OF ALL TIME! R.I.P. I still miss that Legendary Revolutionary.
