Although it has been nearly two months since she released the single, the new Mrs. Nick Cannon (which is still hard to think about) refuses to say adios to her latest Stargate-produced record. Following a radio-remix with former labelmate Jay-Z, Mariah has re-remixed Bye Bye with the help of two of the largest artists in music: Akon and Lil’ Wayne. Despite the fact that the new version has plenty of star power, it is Carey who takes a back seat to her collaborators and doesn’t provide anything new in vocal-land. In their quest for E=MC2 to reach multi-platinum certification, Island Records will release the DJ Toomp-produced, I’ll Be Lovin’ U Long Time, on June 30, as the album’s third official single.

Mariah still has me stuck on this single. She did incredible work on this. Not sure if this is better than the Jay-Z one, but it's pretty damn good as well. Wayne is starting to scare me with his death threats, etc, to himself.
My bad for being late to post today! Just got back from GLOW IN THE DARK and it was NUTS! I was so lucky...got in free an d was backstage! Met Kanye, Lupe, Bishop G and Nikki Jean. Me and Nikki chilled and tell me why LUPE was selling "The Cool" to people in the crowd and out on the block after his set...lol! But none of these songs are working for me, so I just thought I’d tell bout my evening. LOL
Youre right WOW!! people have diffrent taste in music. There are a lot of songs that people liked that I dident and songs I liked that other people dident. But I like music so thats why I come on this sight to here new songs. and now im rating them so i can give my own opinion on them and also I like reading other peoples comments on them to see what people like and dont.
The song was already untouchable, but Akon and Lil Wayne added another dimension to this song. For the most part, these two performers--Akon and Lil' Wayne--are enhancers. This track is ORGANIC.
I really never liked this song. However the tweeks and additions of akon and wayne are a upgrade. Akon really fits this song well. ( I never knew stargate was behind this, doesn't sound like a Ne-Yo song to me.) Wayne really kills this, this is the wayne I dig right here. Stick around wayne, greatness doesn't choose to die, If pac wanted to go, he wouldn't have held on so long. Keep that in mind yall. Live for ya Kids!
I like this edit (not remix, you all know that what I call REmix is a song with a different beat) better than the original song...don't get me wrong, Bye Bye is a really good song, but Akon always gives something more!... That Wayne takes away, I find his voice sooo horrible!
Wow, Akon sounds really good on this track. This beat was made for a remix, which is why Jay-Z killed it on the first one. Lil Wayne does good too, but I'd say Jay takes the cake on the remix. I gave that one a 5, so this will get a 4

more weezy but i actually like this mariah has another hit as usual. but i agree muzzieboi. weezys death threats to himself are scary. in his song "playing with fire" on the carter 3 he really starts sayin he doesnt care if he got assassinated. if he does im gonna be greatly disappointed as would like the world. weezy better stay alive and continue spittin his raps and doin his thing.
