Following her #1 single, Touch My Body, Mariah Carey (and her friends at Island Records) will roll out Bye Bye as the second single off the forthcoming album, E=MC². Although the singer recently performed the T-Pain collaborative track, Migrate, the Stargate-produced Bye Bye has received the nod and will hit the airwaves on April 22. The song, which touches on the loss of loved ones and the difficulty in saying goodbye, is a throwback to Carey’s early material from albums such as Music Box or Daydream. Carey will release E=MC² next Tuesday, April 15, and is set to appear one day later on a finalists’ edition of Fox’s American Idol.
Mariah needed this nice ballad to show balance. I can dig this. Stargate's drum kit is wacker than ever though. Ruined the flow of this song. It could have came off way more epic with some grown-up kicks and snares. Loving the lyrics and vocals by Mariah though. Definitely. I'll throw it in rotation for her. Stargate needs to hop back on the ship and re-up on instrumentation.
This is a great song . I liked what she is singing about on this song . production was good on this track . We've all lost somebody and this track is on point with how somebody feels when they lose somebody
well i am not into buying Mariah's album, but when i hear good music i recognize it and this is hott with a great message. I really do respect Mariah on a different level than many other artists. Once again a great song. FRESH!
awe this song is tight.. helps u cope with the loss of sum one which we can all relate to in some way.. i was waitin' 4 that high note n sure enough she hit it twoards the end :o)
wow nice song by mariah i like the tempo of this song. mariah never seems to stop amazing me. unlike alot of singer mariah can really sing..... cant wait for her album because i know it will be great
Mariah isn't playing around with this album. All the tracks could be #1's. I see some grammy's going her way (triple platinum after first week?). She definitely got all the producers from this album to bring their A game. Smooth chill beat.

This is a decent song. I really can't get with it. It almost sounds too dead to me. I can't sit through the whole thing. I wouldn't even put this in my rotation. She has one of the best voices ever; but just not my cup of tea right here.

i think she should have followed touch my body wit a one more club single then a ballad. with that said its a good single non the less, plus its mariah carey u cant really lose to much on that ticket. Unlike most of the girls in the game rite now she can sing. I couldnt really get into it cuz i havent lost anybody, but if i had i would want this song playing rite now, it gets a 4 out 5 in my book
this song is great, it soo speaks for me . i just lost my true love dwayne and know i dont know what to do . but everytime ilisten to this song i think about all the fun and good times that we ahd together, i really miss him, this song makes me cry my eyes out cuz he was my everything he still is even thogh he isnt here with me
this is wonderful song. i miss my grandfather so much.. i love him and miss him and his birthday is coming up soon. i just want to hug him one more time.
