Marc Goone - Yung Walter White
Artist: Marc Goone
Producer: Aaron Zuckerman
Album: I Am Not a Lobster OK
Label: Unsigned
Just how ruthless is Marc Goone in pursuit of his paper? Well, picture a Yung Walter White—or rather, a Walter White who started building his meth empire at an earlier age. (My fellow Breaking Bad fans will remember that the actual young Walter White was a herb.) On this tongue-in-cheek, Aaron Zuckerman-produced mixtape inclusion, the Hunger emcee recounts how the lack of opportunity to make licit funds inspired him to become a “college-educated drug dealer from the suburbs.” Director YUNG Justin Clough pays homage to the record’s televisual inspiration in his official video. This was OK... not really a fan of the delivery, but it wasn't terrible.

Marc Goone has crossover appeal written all over him. Love the nod to Breaking Bad. I also dig how Goone doesn't take himself too seriously. This kind of video is something we would have seen from Eminem a decade ago.

I love this track and the video is great. Definitely agree about something we would've seen from Em a decade back. You can check out the rest of the DJ Smiles mixtape at www.soundcloud.com/thedjsmiles
