Since parting ways with Birdman and his Cash Money Empire several years ago, Mannie Fresh has kept pretty quiet. Mourning the loss of his sister, Angela Bryant, who was senselessly murdered late last year, Fresh has purposely stayed out of the spotlight, working mostly behind the scenes as an in-house producer at Def Jam South. Getting ready to jump back into “it” later this year, Fresh has leaked a brand new song featuring newcomer The Show and the only artist whose product is out of stock at my local Best Buy (I am not kidding), Lil’ Wayne. While Imma Get Mine is nothing that the rap world hasn’t heard of before, it is encouraging to know that Fresh’s classic New Orleans bounce is on the verge of returning full-time.
WOwwwww..this song is crazy hot! Chorus is fire! I LOVE Mannie Fresh's production always, even though he is a horrible rapper. Will def be lookin out for this one to blow up, BAAAANGER!
Ok first off congradulations to the 2008 Boston Celtics on wining the NBA Championship even though that was embarising by the lakers they got obliterated by the Boston Celtics. As for this song this is hot very good beat by manie fresh as always but not his best beat though but we knew we couldent go 2 days without hearing a song featuring Lil Wayne even though he does ok here. 3.5 stars.
I'm loving the Production that Manny Always puts up. Specially on here. Why they gotta be lazy with the Chorus? But I love how Manny puts the snare when Wayne comes on. We just need the rest of the Hot Boyz on and we good cuz we already know Birdman is around the corner if Wayne is around. BANGER!!!
Refreshing to hear Mannie fresh. Same Cash money sound as before. To me its just alright. I would have turned it off after about 2 min but I was waiting for Wayne's part. Wayne was Wayne.
Always enjoyed his production and his mind of mannie fresh album. His rhymes always sound good over his beats even if they aren't stunning. Not feeling The Show and I really liked wayne it was like a combo of wayne now and wayne then (fireman era)
Production is nice. Mannie Fresh's rap has always been a favorite of mines. He's definitely better than Birdman. The Show didn't do to bad either. For a cliche sounding joint, the rappers definitely held their own. The breakdown on Wayne's verse was pretty raw as well. I won't be a stickler on the song's content, cuz it was real decent and they came real correct. If you are going to do a track like this, this is how you do right!
This is a banger. I like how Mannie fresh sticks to his original production. When he makes or produces a track, u know it's his N he does a solid job on the production...Only thing about dis track is that Wayne part was a little short, but other than that it was a banger. Wayne killed his verse...
I'm really feelin dis track! Wayne did his thing! Production was great! Reminds me of the good ol' dayz when cash money was cash money, not lil wayne & Baby!Lol!!
it should have been a manie fresh production and lil wayne song that would probably be an banga who's the show any way he can't really rap hahahah lil wayne killed as usual only cause wayen on it would i listen in the future
YES!!!!! Mannie Fresh is da Sh@t! Always has been, always will be. Not the greatest rapper but I can stomach it. All ya'll need to remember that Weezy wouldn't be jack SH@T without Fresh at the beginning. Its great to hear them together again, on the real!. Fresh as been killing it lately on the low (see T.I.'s Big Thangs Poppin and Rick Ross's All I Have in This world)
Hot dammnnnnn...dis sh1t is fire, mo fire!!! I'm lovin this ALL the way around. I'm happy Wayne & Manny hooked back up. Dats a real good look for them.
This song here is what some people say belongs to the "sounds the same" rap. I'd agree. This song is OK, but as many have already mentioned, it is very similar to their other songs. So I'd have to think that putting this on your I-POD would be a mistake because you would get sick of it. I won't listen to it again unless it's on the radio, but even then I'd be critical that these guys can't put out anything a little more unique.
He keeps repeating the same thing over and over again and the thing is it gets boring but you still want to hear what he has to say Lil Wayne sounds really violent
Mannie fresh fresh fresh, man mannie is a great producer and he doesnt dissappoint on this song either, this song is great but the beat makes up for alot of it, the show flow is not bad and i have NOTHIN 2 say bout wayne
Mannie Fresh is one of the best producers in the game. I heard it takes him like 5 minutes to make a beat. And they are all fire. He doesn't rap he's a game spitter like he said back in 98. Hearing Wayne on his beat again is coo
Holy Sh**!! Wayne has infinite wordplay. That condomn line was crazy. Unfortunatly, Wayne was the only good part of the song. The production was stale. I'm so tired of the Junior Reid whistle thing like in the "This is why im hot remix".
Yeah the Junior Reid whistle thing is getting old now but the beat is cool... i like a mannie fresh beat! Wayne....................... Wow..... straight killed it...In the words of wayne " Im bout to murder this shit!" and he did..
