Time for another pop quiz – is Maino (a.) a soldier, (b.) a rider, or (c.) a ghetto survivor?  As Shock G would say, “The answer is ‘d:’ All [of] The Above.”  Though the Brooklyn emcee came off as a straight-up cynic on his last Booth feature, this new single sees Maino donning his rose-colored glasses to forecast a brighter tomorrow over an expansive beat by Just Blaze and Nard & B.  The optimistic subject matter coupled with T-Pain‘s anthemic chorus make it seem as though the rapper’s angling for an uplifting crossover hit in the vein of T.I.‘s Best of the Booth award-winning Live Your Life, but will Maino’s motivational rhymes prove as crowd-pleasing as Tip’s?  It’s too early to tell, but All The Above is definitely a catchy second single from the up-and-coming emcee, whose debut studio album, If Tomorrow Comes…, is set to hit stores and online retailers May 19th.

t-pain makes every song a hit, even though it may not be that great of a song.

Maino did INCREDIBLE on this,, Pain didnt MAKE this song, but i sure as hell wouldn't listen to it if he wouldnt have been on the hook, this IMO is Pain's best hook work, Richard, this does resemble Live Your Life, and im sure alot of people will agree, and i also pretty sure this will rise in the charts, Production is FIREEE, BANGERR!! I haven't heard Maino go like this, so ill MOSDEF be on the lookout now..

T-pain did his thing on this track. He always makes raw choruses and outshines his artist who made the song. This man is on every song lately. Maino decent on this track, but a lot of his lyrics are average things that rappers say all the time. This song would be garbage without Pain. Good Work.

So I see Maino continuing the mainstream route after Hi Hater with getting T-Pain. Can't hate, the man is on his grind. Like this one mucho, beat flows nice with Maino. Typical Pain chorus nothing too special.

I like this production by just Blaze. Teddy does his thang on the hook but the second half of it just sounds too lazy, but I guess catchy is what they were goin for there. Maino keeps it real on here, but he doesn't say anything original and his flow is boring. The production and hook push it into rotation for me, and I can see it bein thrown into rotation on the radio for the same reason...

Maino & Atlantic asked for "Live Your Life" Part 2, Just Blaze delivered. Job done.

I'm a sucker for a beat with a violin. I feel the beat so much more. This doesn't eclipse my F.O.A.T which is Won't Let You Down, but I gotta say this will be one of my favorite songs for a little while.

Other than "Be Me" which also featured a violin, I haven't liked many other Maino songs, but have been hoping he put out another production like it. Finally.

The production sounded off the chains from get go. I can definitely here to the "Live Your Life" resemblance. T-Pain definitely snapped on this hook. The mix is uber crispy too. Maino came nice here, but it sounded like Rick Ross ghost wrote the flows (what y'all think?) I mean, I know he probably didn't, but don't it sound like that Rick Ross flow cadence. I actually would like the song much more if it WAS our favorite new former C.O. But I can't front. This is hot. I hope it takes over radio and gives Maino some household name success, cuz I don't care what nobody says, he doesn't have that yet.

I don’t like Maino’s “I deserve to be rich cuz I am poor” talk… that’s bs! Show some unmatched talent first. Just Blaze deserves to be rich! Lol Start bringing better lyrics and then we’ll talk about that… good delivery nonetheless.
Vocals were pop-esque by T-Pain but it turned out to be fresh cuz his hooks have been all the same lately.

This definitely reminds me of "Live Your Life," but I think T.I. was better. This song is aight though. Sick production on this track and it's good to finally hear a good T-Pain hook again. His last few hooks that I have heard weren't that good in my opinion. Maino is ok on here, but I agree with FredRico, that line is BS.

Maino is playing it smart and stayin wit the trend - Pt.2 wit certified banger hook by Teddy as always .....
Just like everyone else said ... TP can be featured with anyone on any beat, and still make it work.....
If this does well at the Radio expect that release date to stick....
The chorus is what takes this record to a new level,... yall agree on dat rite???

The anthem-like feel is becoming increasingly more popular these days (thanks, President Obama). Honestly, I would be shocked if this didn't do extremely well at radio.

The only downside to the track, for Maino, is that is proves how reliant he must be on assistance from Pain to make a true hit record.

Sidebar: I wonder how Beanie Sigel and R. Kelly feel about the usage of "All The Above" as a song title? Hmm.... [calling Beans]

Any half decent artist can have a hit on his hands with a T-Pain hook and good beat. Maino is a little better then half decent and has a sure hit with this. Production is great... Very similar to Live Your Life, actually it would be interesting to here T-Pain on Live Your Life... Anywayz, All The Above, Banger 4sheezi

T Pain was actually a good pick for this song. I like it the production is really good, but it does remind me of "Live Your Life" This has the potential to be really successful song. It will be in my rotation.

Maino brings alot of energy in his flow.

The production is ok. It sounds like "Whatever you Like" or something else I just heard lately. But it still sounds good.

T-Pain sounds good on this track. Almost like he's really singing. Really matches well with this production.
