Mack 10 may be in the 38th year of his life and the twilight of his career, but the young-at-heart rapper has high hopes for the future. As the hook of his new single explains, when he grows up, he’s gonna be a Big Balla. A man can dream, can’t he? The Inglewood native, who first rose to fame as a member of the Westside Connection, is currently putting the finishing touches on his 9th solo album, Soft White (release date TBD). If Big Balla is any indication, the CD will stay true to the Cali sound that has brought him so much success throughout his career. Backed by a thundering beat by Erving “EP” Pope, Mack 10 and guests Glasses Malone and Birdman (who replaces Red Café on a previously-featured version of the song) touch on the intricacies of big ballin’ on the left coast. It sounds like a pretty promising career path to me.

Love the production on this, its bangin. EP definitely put it down and Mack too. Glasses Malone wasn't bad, but Birdman was a bad choice. Birdman is straight weak. Anyway this west coast ridin and definitely a banger.

I don't know. Mack 10 has never really been on my radar back when he was hot, and he won't be now. This track is not really popping and I would never play it again.

I love the bounce to this record. EP really laid down some solid production. With G. Malone also looking to drop his debut album, though, I am not sure when this project will actually make it out.

I am feeling the production, it's good and the very last part of the track where they don't rap shows it! But they are extremely boring. I think the beat should have been used better..
