Attention, Booth readers. Before you hit “play,” make sure your computer’s volume setting is at max. And, if you have a separate knob on your speakers, you’d best turn it as far counter-clockwise as it goes, just to be safe. Done? Good—now you’re prepared to experience Mac Miller‘s latest feature in all its glory. (Please direct all complaints regarding busted audio equipment and hearing loss to Rostrum Records.) The latest release off the indie sensation and 2011 Best of the Booth winner‘s forthcoming street album, Loud is a larger-than-life, braggadocio-drenched celebration of Miller’s flyness. Big Jerm and Sayez join forces behind the boards, serving up an appropriately bombastic synth backdrop (complete with an intro either sampled or interpolated from The Beatles’ Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds, presumably in keeping with the project’s psychedelic theme) as Miller makes clear that the success he’s enjoyed to date is only the beginning: “I just made a million dollars still I think I’m underpaid.” If your speakers (and eardrums) survived this high-volume selection, more earth-shaking bangers await on Macadelic. Keep it locked for release details on the as yet-unscheduled tape.

"Macadelic" should make all of Mac's stoner fans thrilled, but it sounds like something that Wiz could have owned a little better. The production def bangs, though, which makes the title highly accurate.

This is alright, but it is nothing special. This is a typical mainstream song.

The production by Big Jerm & Sayez is really on point. I like Mac's swaggerific flow on the beat. Definitely worth a couple of spins.

The songs goog enough but a bit of bass to pump things up loud would have done it, maybe not to gangster like but somewhere there

Obvious banger is obvious. So, to bring it from where the hardcore ignant rap heads want it, I do what I must.

I like the production, I'm tired of "loud" being the overused slang word of the moment. it's a decent track.

The production is stellar, but I agree with Z saying Wiz woulda destroyed this track much better. Not a fan of Mac's flow...

I think this is mediocre mess, but the flow and production is capped on par as usual.

I think there are some noticeable recycled lines but the beat saves this track and it is definitely mainstream memorable music.
