They say if it’s not broke don’t fix it – and since the last world premiere from M3 garnered positive reviews from DJBooth Nation, why not deliver even more from the Rhode Island rhymesayer? Making its…you guessed it…world premiere right here right now, new promo single Math Werk is a dark banger that owes much of its darkness (and banging, for that matter) to a organ drenched and percussively driven street beat from producer 8th. Thankfully the rhymes from each emcee are as hard as the instrumental as first guest feature Fred the Godson and then the headliner describe the ways that their math skills have only multiplied their street hustle: “It all makes sense if you do the math / it equals big bread if you know how to add.” See kids, it does pay to do your math homework. While there’s still no announced full-length project on the way from M3, if he keeps up this pace we’d recommend he drops a World Premiere mixtape in the next couple months. (Feel free to use that one M3, you’re welcome.)

I always hated math homework (heck, I was a communications and journalism major), but this "Math Werk" is enjoyable. M3, and guest feature emcee Fred, both actually surprise me. I thought one thing based on the title and the cover art, but perception isn't always reality until you press play.

Holy $hit! M3 sounds just like Stack Bundles on the chorus. I like his flow and Fred ripped the first verse. This goes hard. BANGER!
