Though Mayday and Chris Reg of M.A.S.H. are new to the Booth, the Newark, NJ twosome are more than ready to take charge; on this newly-released single, they waste no time in letting listeners know “We Run This.” How did they end up this position of power? Through plenty of hard work, of course—in high-energy verses, the duo describe the ceaseless grind that brought them this far and their sky-high ambitions for the future. The laid-back yet driven rhymes both emcees bring to the cut, as well as Shy Boogz’ midtempo, synth-heavy instrumental and an uncredited singer’s Autotuned hook combine to make We Run This a prime candidate for club rotation, and you know what they say: the rappers that rock the dancefloor are the rappers that rule the world (okay, that’s a loose paraphrase). Eh, there's no need to saturate the industry with more auto-tune infested Rap&B melodies. M.A.S.H. needs to consider who they are as artists because this overdone style isn't going to hold up for the long-run.

This track was not bad for me at all, just way too much of the same. Same old synth-driven/radio-ready beat, same old auto-tune laced hook, and the same old lyrics that dont really say much of anything. Yea not too great for me.

I've been getting sick of the auto-tune for a while but for some reason I actually enjoyed this. I thought the overall song sounded good.

I don’t even mind auto-tune usually, but when it is used wrong or overused, it can be disastrous ... The chorus aint bad, but i would like da song more if it didnt have any autotune... cos the prod is good ...

Yea autotune is used too much these days but I think it sounds good here, not verdone in this song at all. Lyrics, flow, and production all get points. Im not hatin... the song makes me want to listen repeat... that means banger in my book.

I really liked the production but I didn't like the melody, above all the hook. Too repetitive and I hate the autotune! But I'd throw it in rotation

I'm not sure if they really run "THIS" but they sure know a good beat. I actually really like the chorus because it really highlights the production. Very good.
