Despite Jay-Z’s claim that “30 is the new 20,” Lyfe Jennings respectfully disagrees. To hear his argument, as to why age is not just a number, may we suggest listening to Lyfe’s new single, Never Never Land. The title suggests that men who think they can remain a “playa” as they grow older are living in a fairytale. As a follow-up to the smooth and sexy single, Cop’s Up, Lyfe is banking on a successful string of mid-tempo jams to catapult him back up to the top of the charts. Check out Lyfe’s brand new album, Change, when it is released this February to see if his strategy is successful.
love it he saved me from that cops up ish....that song was too far from tha lyfe jennings i knew n loved...... jus too commercial...this is more like it...i jus love him...this i kan bump 2 meaningful lyrics...has lyfe written all over it!!!!
I am starting to see Lyfe everywhere lately which is a good strategy for success. I like his songs so far even from the first album. He has a different mature type of sound that is welcoming in the game right now. This song is pretty cool, but not really my type of song I guess. Good job though...I don't think it could have been done better.
Every song that Lyfe puts out has a hidden message in them... S.E.X., Cops Up, Cry, Must Be Nice, all of those... This flow is Awesome and this is what the real Lyfe Jennings is about...all of his songs ive got to listen to over and over again to get all of it and i download all of them as well lol, Lyfe Jennings is personally somebody that everyone should look up to in my opinion. This is one of those songs that will never get old. Best song out right now in my opinion
this song is hot man i love it and i think this is a hit. from the begining before the wrds. even started to the end of the song. this song is relateable
Very prolific Song, I love the Honesty, and Real Talk that Lyfe Brings to the table. And the melody with his smooth raspy voice has a very distintive sound, also the message and meaning of the song is a true Testament what we call Grown folk Music aka Grown and Sexy!
i have this on my mp3 also i love it with all of my heart & he is soooooo right you getting older why continue to be a "playa" it is not even worth it..... get a wife and settle down.....
classic!!
At first I just couldnt get into Lyfe's first 2 albums, but after these latest releases im understanding why so many people were in love with his music and im going back to give the other albums another try, see if they can grow on me
i love this song because sometimes it makes me cry also it relates to my brother and his sent be wife thats why i like this song also because it seems like my dad is singing this song(he is dead)
Lyfe Jennings never disappoints me...well, except for Cops Up, which I felt quite didn't suit his genre (even though it's clear that he's "old-school street"-you can tell by the texture of his voice). Love it....
