 Lupe's album is about 50% hotness and 50% just decent; and this is one of the 6-7 tracks that I think is FIRE. This is a hot track and so is Paris Tokyo and a few others. It is a must-hear album for sure, and this is a fine example of Lupe at his best...

This is a classic hip hop song in my opinion. I saw Lupe in concert in SF last month and this song was the highlight for me. 2500 people all screaming "hip hop saved my life". It was crazy to say the least.

Like my hometown comedian T.P. Lucas says a lot at his shows, "Hip hop neva killed nobody-all it's done is made people filthy rich and improved their quality of life!" Lupe does another classic hear (Note to michaelhannah-BKA Young Son-I bet you're proud of fellow Twin Cities singa Nikki Jean doin' that hook!)

This is by far my favorite song on "The Cool." Lupe Fiaco's nerd rap isn't universal for all hip-hop fans, but instead it deeply touches the few who truly understand his music. The story telling in this record shows Lupe's improvement in capturing a message, bringing listener on journey from verse 1 to 2 to 3. Nikki Jean sings the hook perfectly, chopping up the syllables in-between sentences sounds pure and personal. I'm glad Lupe chose this as one of his singles, it makes a statement to everyone doubting the power of hip-hop.

One of the best songs i've heard in a long time. It's like unless you can't understand what hip hop is really supposed to be, you won't know that essentially every song Lupe has ever made for albums needs to get none less than 4 stars on a rating. This here is an a classic, instantly. 5 stars, no question. Nikki Jean from St. Paul, Minnesota adds such a great touch to the song and it's great to hear a new talent that will probably do some big things in the next decade here.
Oh, and if you want punchlines SBHS, you better go cop and download every single Lupe song ever. Period. |

One of the best Hip Hop songs of the year! You cannot deny that Lupe Fiasco is one of the greatest lyricists to date. I love his style and his creativity. Nikki Jean sounds awesome on the track too. This is one of my favorite songs on "The Cool."

LUVIN this track, Lupe is ALWAYS on point! Hes on of the best rappers out right now, he has originality n swagger that no one can touch. Like other great lyricists (ie Tupac, Nas) hes come to the game to deliver his message and hasent been sidetracked into losing his voice. You can tell when a rappers bout the music or the money by what they bring to the table...I do feel more could hav been done with the chorus but still I'm luvin the track for what it is.
