Almost 50% of all marriages in the United States end in divorce. Think that number seems high? Try getting married a second time; the chance that it will work out is less than 40%. What does this all mean? Well, since DJBooth provides music, and not marriage counseling, we aren’t quite sure. However, when you relate these astounding statistics to the music industry, we know a thing or two… and so does Ludacris. On the refreshing new song, Stay Together, the DTP boss recounts plenty of famous break-ups, a few make-ups, and asks why we can’t stand united? Being considered for placement on Luda’s forthcoming sixth studio album, Theater of the Mind, Stay Together is produced by Three 6 Mafia’s Juicy J and DJ Paul.
The production on this by Three 6 Mafia is CRAZY! Ludacris is always really good on these "chick" type tracks. His flow on here is cool and he is speakin the truth! This can go into rotation with a 3.5 out of 5 stars!
Dj Blaze welcome back. It's been kind of quiet around here. When I saw the G-unit posting yesterday I thought you would be all over that. Luda is doing well, hence the two pinky rings in the picture. This is a chill Luda track. I like the smooth jazz vibe. He definitely gave me an up-date on all the conflicts that happened in the music industry. Luda is a reporter in disguise. A great heal the world track.
luuuudaaaa.. one thing i like about him is his energy on tracks.. wait there is no energy on this track.. too bad.. i'll turn to ne-yo when i need a slow banger feel me?.. now i'll give credit where it's due cuz his rhymes are typically creative and they flow well -like they do on here.. and its cool to see a deviation from the luda-norm here
Who cares, sho boi? Well, "Runaway Love" scored Ludacris a Grammy and he is taking the sensitive route once again. Ludacris' lyricism isn't "best of all-time" caliber, but he sure holds the ability to satisfy the streets and hip-hop enthusiasts alike. He practically covered every relationship in recent memory in four minutes. This record holds a bigger meaning than just couple relationships, it encourages hip-hop as a community to unite and stand strong in the midst of all its controversy. The production work by Three 6 Mafia is another strong effort. Both DJ Paul and Juicy J have been under-the-radar as producers with everything else surrounding their careers.
Oh my God I feel ashamed to rate after all these stars...but well for me it's boring! it's not bad but it's not a song I would listen to a second time! it's just ok to me
ummmmm i don't like this, where is luda fast pace mind spliting rhymes that has made he one of the best rapper from the south.........................if want to be bored hearing someone talk i would have went to a poetry recital
luda being luda..i do miss tho the flow from his first album but nowadays his flow is more like story telling and poetry with nice puns and cool quips..(isnt all rap??..lol) nice track..i do feel the "boring" aspect to it..but its true..runaway love did please grammy officials..think about it..on a side note..i do hear a lil bit of "its hard out here for a pimp" drum production in here..i just thought that was funny..
yea dis was boring but i do respect his thoughts n feelins behind da song...i do wish sum ppl would get bac togetha. but dat @*#$! bout raz b was TOOOOO FUNNNYY!!!! lol get n dat ass....ha but on a serious note i agree wit tone chef bout da hip hop community stickin togetha n stayin strong...black ppl dnt really do dat no more...(shakes head)
Man this is pretty up and down on the ratings. I kinda agree with everyone on this one. <br>

This is not my favorite Luda track either, but the production from 3 6 is on point as always. It is also typical Luda poking fun at something, in this case all of the "Holly Divorces." And as Tone + Chef mentioned, it ultimately has a deeper message than just celebrity breakups. Like DonJonJon said, this is a good track for the album, but not quite single material.
Nooooo not a good song at all from Luda in my opinion... doesnt even have a really actual song feel to it... lol and by the way Dj Blaze hasnt been newhere?
Y dont the fans of hip-hop stars dont want their favorite superstars 2 change their whole game just for a lil bit, Luda is taking a more positive route and it shows a bit of his maturity being in the rap game 4 so long, after doing the same ol beats on his albums it got boring so he's talking positive in 2008 its time we have a rapper n tha SOUTH 2 take a more higher road, cause the rest of em aren't. Some people dont appreciate wat good music really is, all they want 2 here is how hot somebody is or how musch money they make, no! we need 2 take a time out from all that and take a more higher and serious road...I LOVED This SONG !!1
This is boring for a rapper especially of the South.I like the beat and flow though!Even I feel this breaking up is happening but he gunna have to come harder than this!
Luda gonna have to come harder than this especially for being a rapper of the south. The flow and beat klean though and I can sympathize with this!Come hard or don't come at all!
Not really like the prodcution from Three 6 Mafia...they are capable of much more...but Luda definately has the right flow but only needs to be on a more uptempo song..
wow Luda is goin sick on track but itz da truth and ppl really need to listen to this and learn from it, but that's wat Luda is all about.........THE TRUTH!!!!!!
it's hot. but this shows that if luda can go 8 albums(dtp tapes included)and continue to find topics to rap about, then how is it that other artist cant?????
I'm loving Ludas approach to grown folk topics. I love this song bc it's original, thought provoking, and instead of talking about cheating and playing games it's supporting the thought of working ish out...or maybe i'm looking to much into this. Watever though...still love it.
i'm a big luda fan...this isn't a typical luda track but somehow he makes it work...shout out to luda for being one of the most underrated mc's of all time. yeah i said it!
It's got a mellow beat; definitely something you can just kick back and coast to. Mad funny how Luda's like "Even Raz-B said Chris Stokes was gettin' dat azz"!
Naw He ain't doin him. I expect alot more from luda, he doesn't even close to as hungry as he used to. I think he needs to get back to the basics and regain that state of mind that got him all the respect in the game in the first place. Disturbin the peace records needs to live up to their name, DISTURB THE PEACE!!!!!
What more can you say, the dude is solid everytime. Of course he's not gonna be "Southern Hospitality" or "What's Your Fantasy" Luda or even 'Chicken & Beer' Luda but that's not a bad thing. He's on his grown up now and I respect that. Three 6 has some of the best sample selection in the game.
neva real-e been a fan of Luda.... lots of people can spit something true but it dont mean it has 2 b gud...if yall didnt kno dat DIS wuz Luda some wouldnt b rate-n dat high, i mean come on it aint da gud.
This is not a banger and wont get plays because of what it is but Ludacris is great on this track. This is prob the first song ive heard about celebrity relationships. Interesting and good.
i would have to say that i love this song...its different and tru...i like how he uses celebrities as examples of what is going on in the world because people look up to them...i dont think the song would have the same effect if he used names that people wouldnt recognize....his flow is still there and its def somethin u can just ride too.
truthful @*#$!.. i love the line hilary still wit bill cliton i dont know how they do it.. he got his dick sucked and the whole world knew it ... haha shitttt lol
I like this 1. Paul and Juicy are definitly the most underrataed producers on the scene as you can tell from the beat.the content of the song is good but wouldnt be appealing in an everyday "looking through your ipod for something to listin to" situation. unity in hip-hop is real neccessary, i think. its not a song that i'd just turn on but its not a song that i'd turn off either
Clever Work! I dig this. only thing is I do not want this to be a single. not the kinda track that starts buzz for the album. I can't wait 4 the Theater of the Mind though.
at first listen i was kinda like what a little different soundig but after a second time i like it. I mean ludacris has atleast one really funny line on every one of his songs like on this one the bill clinton got his dick sucked and everyone knew it is hilarious. it should be on the radio for that alone. 3.5
