We’ve heard them trade high-powered verses on hits like What’s Your Fantasy, Stand Up, P-Poppin’, Shake Dat Sh*t, RPM, and Gettin’ Some (Remix). Now, Ludacris & Shawnna are looking to resolve the age-old Battle of the Sexes for good in a knock-down-drag-out collaborative album. The first round features them both at a certain nightspot where Everybody Drunk As F*ck. As Luda cranks up his Atlanta-style game-spitting to the maximum, Shawnna picks up the fast-paced flow that’s so popular in her hometown of Chicago. Complete with a beat by DJ Montay (featuring a sample from 8Ball & MJG‘s You Don’t Want Drama), this record should get men and women alike pumped up for the forthcoming LP. The official fight is set to go down later this summer, so place your bets and pick your sides (being a young man as well as a Midwesterner, expect any assessment on my part to be as balanced as possible).

Great party song right here, I will be using this right away! Haha loved Luda's last album and can't wait 4 this collaboration album. Luda's vibe is real tight as always, while Shawnna brings a nice contrast. Wit the subject matter, OF COURSE I'm gonna bang this track... more of this and I think a solid album is in store. |

This is the definition of the word banger, as soon as i heard it I thought Stand Up, mainly because i know this is going to get a massive amount of spins in the clubs. The beat from DJ Montay was insane & both Luda & Shawwna are always great on these tracks.

ludacris is like the LIVER of hip hop... its very overlooked, people think its all about the brain, all about the heart, but its not... without a heart, you can get a transplant, but without a liver, u get no replacements.... theres only one, and you wont be alive without it! ludacris is or really should be one of the greatest of all time... he CONSISTENTLY comes with bangers, and manages to keep better lyrics then most banger type songs beat wise, shawna just makes this like sexy pretty much anything under a 4... is rated by a non hiphopaholic

Sorry to piss in everyone Wheaties, but the sample got annoying by the end. Go listen to the opening verse of "You Don't Want Drama"....8 Ball kills it. There are plenty of other lines that could've been sampled to make this track less repetitive. This song is only OK, but Luda killed it.

As a huge Ludacris fan (he's been my favorite rapper since Back for the First Time), I am greatly disappointed by this offering. The production is decent and the verses are great (as expected) but the hook is just outright atrocious. I miss the old Luda; the one that could make Top 10 singles simply by lending his voice. Theater of the Mind was his best album, make no mistake, but, as far as "Smash Hits" go, the album was empty-handed. It actually angers me to see the fact it has yet to go platinum; especially in a world where rappers like Wayne sell a "milli" in a week. Anyways, this track, to me, is a failure; worthy of a few listens but not much more. Hopefully the first real single is better. Shawnna and Ludacris have proven to be a great tag-team so can I count on a new "Stand Up"? A "What's Your Fantasy?"? Honestly, I don't think so.
