Sometimes when you want something done the right way you need call an expert. Pipe sprung a leak? Call a plumber. Car won’t start? Grab a mechanic. In the event you should need a club banger to keep the party going, who better to call than Ludacris? On his latest single, Rest Of My Life, the ATL veteran recruits old friend Usher and hit-making French DJ David Guetta, who like his American counterparts has spent his fair share of time in the club. As the beat begins to build Luda presents his theories on alternative medicine “They say what don’t kill me can make me stronger/so two drinks a night should help me live longer,” before turning over the mic to Usher, whose powerful vocals set the stage for Guetta’s synth-heavy, trademark sound that will surely to get fists pumping and booties shaking. You can find Rest Of My Life on Ludacris’ forthcoming album Ludaversal, set to drop early in 2013. To tide fans over, the single will be available for download via iTunes tomorrow, November 2.

This song first appeared on the R&B / Pop Chart on November 5, 2012

Sadly, the song doesn't even feel like Usher's. He sounds like a guest artist on his own single. Doh!

Damn Ludacris has fallen off. I hate any track that has David Guetta on it. Might do well in the club.

Come on Luda!!!! WTF ARE YOU DOING?? This isn't like Luda at all!! I mean i understand thats what the industry is doing but Luda has always done his own thing which was much different than what any other rapper was doing at the time. Now it feels like he's in a slump and thought bringing in David Gueta was gonna help but naw it just sounds like you sold out ala nicki minaj and.....pretty much everybody else in hip hop!!

(goes back to listening to Kendrick Lamar)

This just sounds like an Usher track featuring Ludacris....what happened to Luda seriously. Guetta isn't even respected in the EDM world any longer, he's pure pop. Disappointing...however this will probably crack the top 10 of the billboard top 100

I could hear this in a club but not on my iPod. The beat started off good but gradually got clashy.Ushers intro was nice at the beginning. Ludacris was OK but I've never really been too into his music

I have nothing but respect for artists who try to evolve through their music but this is not that type of ‘experimenting’ with sound. This is just more of that eurodance trash that has been going on for a minute now. And it seems that Luda is comfortable with making corny ass crap like this and being in the same category as Flo Rida, Pitbull and Justin Bieber.

Anyway, I mess with his old shit but Luda not only sold out, he fell the f*ck off hard.

It's perfect for the club scene, but COME ON, Luda?! What the...? That's no musical evolution, this is just a lack of creativity! We want the real Ludacris back (pre-Battle of the Sexes)! I know you still got it...

Awful...Luda coming a good year too late to the EDM scene and a tired and old formula. Might get play in the dance clubs but I'm not gonna be bumping this crap ever.

Ludacris should not have done this song. What a sellout move! Its a good David Guetta beat and all but Luda just doesn't sound right on here at all.

I like this, boviously I reckon this will be hitting shelves in radio plays and is ridiculous.

Luda really is on the way down and should quit the game before he completely ruins his rep, Usher does seem lost to me in which he's moved from the Without You vid to this one wandering the landscape dancing about., As usual Guetta behind the boards creating a mediocre beat.

ok im pretty much with everyone else here luda for sure got lost on this track this isnt his style at all didnt get to hear his killer flow on the track step 1. luda get off this track step 2. leave usher and david on the track (ends up being a pop/dance song) step 3. luda find your own track and kill it
