The recently-featured Wish You Would, a track off Ludacris’s forthcoming Theater of the Mind, is a sign that somewhere, somehow, someway, the ATL veteran is smarter than the game has given him credit for. After hooking up with the Salinas Brothers, a.k.a Play*N*Skillz, at this year’s New Mexico Takeover III, Cris has decided to drop a remixed version of the record. The Texan production duo freak out the bassline with heavy synth punches and light drums, under which Luda and T.I.’s vocals flow flawlessly. Although the redux doesn’t outdo the original, the shock value of two competitors/former nemeses coming together to do a track should be enough to push a few more units (and have new artists flocking towards Play*N*Skillz). Theatre of the Mind drops November 25.
1st!!! Personally, I like this better. The guitar matches the lyrics better than the originals and theres a right amount of bass. Original is 3 but just with the guitar and the new beat I will upgrade the REmix to a banger
Not feelin this, im a big fan of both but this and the original wernt any good, i have not doubt that these two can make some great songs together, but this just isnt it. Originals better in my eyes
I like this, its a good banger. The guitar adds a little spice to it, TI does his thing, as well as ludacris. I havent heard the orginial, I'll have to check it out.
YungChino, Dis is like a diss record kinda like his "Undisputed" record where he usually sounds like that. But he can rap in any style like soft, hard or real fast or slow. Plus, his voice helps him out a lot if t.i. or anyone tries to diss him.
Ah, the track that sparked a big message board argument between the idiot boy XxXxDaTruthXxXx. LOL. The remix is a tad better than the original. Still nothing special.
This beat is infinitely better than the original. The addition of the guitar in this spot is amazing. Only thing i don't like is that we have an edited version here so its annoying but bottom line, Luda should keep this production and scratch the previous.
This is actually better than the original to me. I like this beat alot. The verses were always hot but the other beat was kinda weak. Wait till you hear On top of the World, much better track featuring the two.
michaelhannah isn't this the remix of the song which I rated 1 and most of the users got mad at me? ahahahahah! Well u are right, this is way better than the original. I like Luda and T.I but I don't really like how they rap here. Anyway the production is fire, I'm really feeling it, the electric guitar is perfect! Still I don't stand the chorus, though. I hate how they sing @*#$! wuuuuuuuld, it gets on my nerves! This one gets 2,5 stars, thanx to the music
I didn't LOVE the first version and I don't LOVE this version either. Frankly, for a track with Luda and T.I. it is pretty underwhelming. Overall, though, the new production (save the chorus which hurts on the beat match) is an upgrade.
BANGERR!!, Beat got murdered by Luda and T.I. both, The intro was CRAZYYY!, im luvin this beat like never before, Luda is on top of his game right now, NOT on TOP of the game, but i have a feeling Luda will be right back up in no time! DTP!!!
I can't remember the original... and if that happens that means i thought it sucked... BUt this is HOt.. I'm really feel'n this! Certified Limewire Library material!
...yo i lett dat goe and yall still hackin on me???...anywayz...i definetly like the original track wayyyy better...michaelhannah...-hop off mah dick, bruh...
Original was better. Beat's tight but it doesn't go well with the words, leaving the track with a cheap garageband feeling. Feels like a mixtape track while the original definitely had that album feeling.
heard dis like 2 weeks ago down here on da radio. iono if its cuz im from atl, but i jus feel like for dem to b who dey r,dis song isnt as hot as it should b....its nice to c dem on da same track tho...
I'm not really thrilled about this song (the original version either), or the song on T.I.'s Paper Trail that features Luda. You would think the 2 of them would be coming up with some classic @*#$!, not average @*#$!!
