“It was bound to happen sooner or later,” professes Ludacris. With his Sean Garrett and Chris Brown-assisted single, What Them Girls Like, already making major moves, the vicarious emcee has just upped his ‘buzz anti’ with the release of Wish You Would, a long overdue collaboration with fellow ATL emcee, T.I.. Over a haunting synthesizer, the two larger-than-life artists discuss their bank roll and the jealously that basically everyone possesses except for each other. Unlike comparable songs drawn from the same ilk, however, Christopher and Clifford find a way to enthusiastically, creatively and entertainingly reinvent a stale topic. If you weren’t before, get excited… Ludacris’ Theatre of the Mind is set to drop this fall.

WOW... Luda and T.I, would of never expected it! I think luda and Fab would make a good collabo too. Overall, this joint is good... not quite my cup of tea... but I still give it a 3 cause this collabo is crazzy!

*Before I even play this track I have to say, the new snippit Jay and Ye premeired in Ny Jockin Jay-Z, Fab would have murked this beat. I wanted more from this long awaited union. This song is cool, nothin bad about it, but nothin memerable about it either. However T.I.s verse was a bullet. He made it bang 4 me.

This song is ok. Expected a little more from these two but it's not bad. Production is ok and the verses are good. The hook is the low point of this track. Seriously Patty. You are the only one who has rated this song under a three. A song with Luda and T.I. can't be garbage. What kind of music do you actually like?

well z said it best again. the long awaited single from the two undisputed rappers repping atl, ga. this is definitely something i could ride to. the production for these two in the same song together is a little lower than average, which is a major suprise. Ludacris and the emphamis tongue lashing metaphor completes the song. i personally think that the song should have started with the verse. that would hype the song up more for when the hook comes in. Almost typicall ludacris hook could have been way better, im sorry to admit. T.I. spits his verse well in the in cleaning up the rest of the song. both are still showing their competiveness for each other wich is a good thing. i look forward to more ludacris and t.i. collaborations but this is a good start. overall the song recieves 3 its not quite a banga but it can still be thrown in rotation. it will eventually grow on and turn into a banger

Best part of the song is the intro...because really, who saw this coming? With Luda talkin and T.I. laughin it shows that these two are focused on the bigger picture. I'm actually getting excited about music again with people like T.I, Jeezy, Luda, Game, and possibly Eminem droppin later this year. Recession might be over...lol

I have been a daily visitor of this site for the past four months. I often see reviews that annoy the hell out of me. Usually Michaelhannah is the one who sets the others straight, which I appreciate. So no more sitting back and reading the reviews(which sometimes takes for ever!). Patty I agree with you. With two such talented artists on a track, they didn't bring it any where near hard enough! Production was okay at best. Love for the artists doesn't make the track instant banger! Respect for their abilities should. Neither lived up to that.

Shut up with that racist talk xxXxDaTruthXxXx. Why you assume she only listens to rock just because she's not black. That's ignorant. You don't even know what hip hop is. This joint is decent, but not great. It's point blank. I'm a T.I fan too, but just because I am, that doesn't mean I'm going to be on his nuts for every single song he makes or features on just because. I still look at each song individually and judge based on that. Truthfully, Luda and T.I are certainly hip hop. But I will say this, before I think of them when the term "hip hop" is mentioned, I think of Nas or Common or Lupe. Some of their substance is more substantial than the cliche "money, cars and women" topics. Tariqbinafif is correct. How'd we go from Pac and Biggie to Jeezy? Granted Jeezy is decent, he's not as epic as the two I mentioned before that were, but yet he and other "new" rappers get that pedestal. Think about that.

This is a very suprising colabo between these two guys. These guys have beefed in the past with T.I Shounting I'm the King Of The South on every song got Ludacris angry because he clearly has acomplished more then T.I. I mean I watched Beef the series three on BET an towards the end of that show it had versed from both these guys beefing with each other I mean hell T.I recently punched Ludacrisis Executive Producer Chaka Zulu so these guys have had there promblems. But oviousley its over now and to this song now its hot with this banning beat on this song. Its much better then that What them girls Like song while I gave that song a 4 I listened to that again and I just thought that just a sellout cliche female song with Chris Fruity Brown on it I dont know on that song anymore this song returns Ludacris back to that hard type song that I like from him. But Ludacris is still the King Of The South not T.I or Lil Wayne or any other artist from there. Ludacris has acomplished more then any other southern rap artist so hes the best from there.

Ahahahahah I've been off for a while, enjoying this lovely summer sun & heath, I come here and what do I find? My name is in almost every comment, just because I didn't like a song by Luda & T.I. Come on people, you are ridicolous and intolerant! And this happens almost everytime I express my tastes...thank u michaelhannah and Z for defending me! DaTruth I don't even give an answer to someone who writes like u, I didn't understand a word, seems like u type at random. Faboofd the idiot here is you because u write such useless comments! At least I only write about my personal musical tastes, and don't personally offend the other members. Ps: the most stupid comment is about me not knowing what hip hop is only because I gave this song a 1. DaTruth I'm white and I'm Italian, u can't expect me to be an expert about hip hop music. I like it, I'm learning to know it and I'm here to simply express my tastes! Which aren't important for the success of the rappers, like yours. As you can see someone agrees with me about this song, then jump on them, too! lol just joking

Patty, all those comments about your "music taste" are due to your lack of knowledge about hip-hop. Yes, that's true. You don't know what hip-hop is and you only like songs you can dance to in the club. You have mentioned this here before. I have never written here, but i always read the comments. If you don't even know what it is, you can't be rating songs here, that's why people complain so much about you. By the way, this song is not sick but it's in rotation.

Y'all are so stupid. I hate people who like a rapper and just because they like that rapper, everything that the rapper puts out they cosign. Like c'mon here! Luda and T.I are my guys, but this is a sub-par joint, plain and simple. Faboofd4l, you talking about Jeezy's flow and what not. EVERYTHING HE PUTS OUT ISN'T ALWAYS FIRE MY DUDE! Get with it. Judge tracks on individual quality. I KNOW HIP HOP....so you can't play that bull you are trying to pull on Patty with me. The fact is though, if I'm not feeling it, I'm not feeling it. Just because it's "hip hop" doesn't mean I have to CO-SIGN every time! Be a freaking individual. That's what Patty is doing and I think I'm finna cosign her actions. I was like y'all idiots in the past, but now I've changed up....cuz bandwagon hopping is getting old. Get with it. Half of you "fans" who claim they know what a hot joint is don't know jack....and that's real talk. Do some thinking and then get back at me.

You people in general cannot make constructive discussions, everytime you try to do it you include "idiot" etc etc...michaelhannah I'm impressed by your comments, thank u. It's true that I don't know hip hop, at least not as good as any of you, but in many comments of mine I gave 3 stars even though the song didn't catch me, only because I recognised it was well-produced and real hip hop. @ exclusive: yes I know hip hop is a culture, a culture very far from mine as you know! But I respect it and think that I even want to choose it as my thesis subject when I graduate! Hip hop isn't an easy music, one has to discover it, every day a little more. Can ya'll understand me? Of course everyone has got their personal tastes, in r&b like in rock like in hip hop ;) |

I like Luda and T.I. but I'm getting tired of hearing about money and material shit especially from Luda thats all he's rapping about in this song and a lot of other songs too.I wish rappers would start rapping about real shit cause this is NOT hip-hop at all.And rappers wonder why they cant compare to Pac and Biggie...cause ya'll dont be talkin bout shit. The beats sound better then the lyrics.
