Has a lack of new music from Ludacris made you consider checking into rehab? If so, you might want to change those plans. In addition to Luda’s brand new studio album, Theatre of The Mind, which is set to drop this fall, the Atlanta native is planning the release of a Gangsta Grillz mixtape with DJ Drama for next month. Entitled The Preview, the tape will be chock full of new records and plenty of freestyles, including the recently leaked Big Ass House. Rapping over Rick Ross’ The Boss beat, courtesy of J.R. Rotem, Luda details his five million dollar estate (that he paid for in cash) and all it’s countless, brag-worthy amenities. For those taking notes, home = ego.
Luda sounds funny with the machine on his voice. I'm not really feelin' this that much. I don't think anyone can rock this beat better than Rick Ross and T-Pain. It just sounds like a cheap re-hash of a classic. It's just OK to me...
Haha, sorry Luda does NOT pass the vocoder test. His voice sounds way to deep when he's using it. I miss Luda more than anyone right now and cannot wait for his new material and album, but this should have stayed in the vault. Put a bad vocoder performance and a generic lyrical song about money and houses together and you get a 2/5 Sorry.
Yes I think if The boss wasn't already implemented in all of our minds we would dig this more. But fact is taht song is still fire no matter how much it's played. Luda doesn't do anything 4 it on this, plus f you house and yo couch nigga!!! jk I'm waitin on the album though, bring that to the world luda!
I like this better than the original. Luda drops some crazy lyrics on this track. He is the king of the South (I stand by that statement). This is ORGANIC!
Hahahahahaha! LUDA! Ludacris sounds way better on the vocoder than anyone beside T. Pain! LOL. He's a fool for this for one. That's all I can see. You can see he was just wilding out, and you see it was better than most real rap tracks lately. LOL
LUDA aka chris lover lover, A-TOWN baby!!!!!, when alot of ppl take about rappers from the A they always mention T.I. & Young Jeezy, but for some reason forget luda....LUDA is the real deal ppl, this song is good, but the beat is kinda old, but like BDF44 said it never get olds....MY BIG ASS HOUSE lol!!!
The hook was just killer. The vocoder? Errrrm. Negative. Not feeling it man. Verses were sick. You don't hear Luda make a stunt track very often, but when he does, it's just crazy. Very nice. Always hilarious lyrics from Mr. Bridges. Banger.
Now I am a very big Ludacris fan he is my favorite rapper by far and its good to hear something new from him. Even know I want to hear an actual new song but I kinda like this freestyle. I just always loved this guys lines. And the way he says Seen is funny. 3.5 stars
People are so silly. This is just a freaking joke song that Luda is tossing on a mixtape. People rap over the same beats all the time for mixtape tracks. It's actually best when they do it the same, but change the topic, (i.e Kanye West's "Throw Some D's" about breast cups sizes instead of Rich Boy's cars/rims). That's the same thing that happened here. Yo, and what's with all this vocoder bashing. Truthfully, I didn't even notice he was on a vocoder for the hook until I read some of the reviews. He sounds okay on it. You don't even notice and it's not even annoying like hearing Weezy, Yeezy, Yung Berg and even sometimes Kanye on it.
I'm liking this freestyle Luda always has something funny to say and pretty much he gets off on the whole track can't wait for a Luda album. This is just a throw away mixtape track I need a real album cut from Luda its been awhile.
