Luck-One - Dem Say Yea
Artist: Luck-One
Producer: Dizz [for Stadium Status]
Album: Critical Mass
Label: Architect Ent.
Prior to hitting the stage at Atlanta’s hip-hop heavy A3C Festival next week, Portland, Oregon emcee Luck-One has let loose another cut from his forthcoming album, Critical Mass. No stranger to our pages, his last DJBooth feature Get. Your. Money. was released just last month, the rhymesayer boldly delivers social commentary on the intrepid Dem Say Yeah. Backed by Northwestern beatsmith Dizz’ intriguing mix of ominous keys and spacey synths, Luck-One doesn’t hesitate to showoff his flawless flow as he spits, “Why you waiting around hating cause you stayed aground/ I was sick of living from vanity in the shade of frowns.” Although dem say “yeah” on the artist’s latest record, dem may also want you to check out the lyrical assassin’s Critical Mass album, which is due out October 13.

The Pacific Northwest on fire right now. Consistently solid music from a region that just a few years ago was completely being ignored. Ignored no more. Dizz killed this production. You hear that? Its Drake on line 2.

Damn, listen to this beat! Esspecially the deep kinda piano-like part in combination with the rough voice.
The hook could be a little more catchy imo ^^. |

Nasty work by Lucky-One and Dizz. This is definitely Banger material. Sick production work by Dizz on the beat...
